Great replacements for fixing headphones
I bought these to fix my burnt BeyerDynamic DTX900 headphones. I like listening to music loud so I go through new headphones every 2 to 3 years. I also play an electronic drum kit mixed with music from youtube to practice.SIZE & WEIGHTThe physical size of these is exactly identical to the ones they replace so it was a straight swap with a little soldering. The headphones themselves are slightly heavier to the Beyerdynamic.SOUNDAs these are slightly heavier the bass is so much bigger and punchier than the originals so I was well impressed. I did not notice any distortion even at loud levels. If you are into dance music that has a lot of low frequencies you will love these. The only thing I would moan about a bit is that it seems that the frequencies around 1KHz have been pushed so they sound louder than the beyerdynamic but this makes listening for longer periods very tiring unless you reduce the volume. This is more obvious with anything that has vocals. The beyerdynamic do not have as much bass but their sound is much more open so the frequencies are spread more around the stereo image so you can listen for longer with them. Now I am comparing a £5 headphone speaker with a ten times the price of a Beyerdynamic!Great replacement for fixing broken headphones, fantastic bass and clear sound, maybe not an audiophile speaker though. Overall, I would definitely give them 5 stars despite the slight criticism as the price is very good.

saved my QC35's
my QC35's met its doom when the speakers began to rattle and eventually stop outputting audio. these were super simply to replace and sounded like the originals and still work after a year or so.

Pleasantly surprised.
Purchased for headphone mod and was pleasantly surprised. Using on open back headphones which makes a difference. Bass is decent. Trebles are decent too for what they are. Same or better than the ones they replaced.

Bose QC3 - Perfection restored
After 16 years of use my much loved Bose QC 3 right side speaker was becoming intermittent. The choice was bin them or have a shot at a repair. Chose these speakers for a self repair as they looked most like the originals with the 4 holes . QC3’s are fiddly but not difficult to dismantle - 2 screws hidden under ear pad spacer foam as well as the two external and note the the current speaker is glued in and will need a firm prising to remove - can avoid a bit of damage but it gets hidden on assembly. Soldering using headset magnifying is required but even my basic skills could cope using a mobile iron with a fine pointy tip, fine solder wire and flux paste. Did the faulty side and found sound from this replacement indistinguishable from the original working left side so did not need to risk further repairs and will leave the non faulty left side for when it needs repair. Really perfect Bose sound. Impressive. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Works in QC25
Fixed my dead speaker in my Bose QC25s. However the audio quality was not as good as the originals. Noticeable hiss in quiet periods. However for the price this is ok and better than buying new headphones.

Cheaper than BOSE. Works like BOSE!
Fitted perfectly to replace one ear of a headphone. You literally cannot hear the difference between original BOSE driver on one side and replacement on the other side. You can however feel how much heavier you wallet remained by not getting suckered in to buying a 'BOSE' replacement part!

Fantastic Drivers
I put these into my 80's Sony headphones that had blown speakers. A little bit of cutting on the headphones and I was soon able to adapt them. The Sonys have never sounded so good. I am a headphone freak so I compared them with my Bose, Beyer, Panasonic and newer Sonys and for fullness these blew them all away. Despite being cheap Chinese copies of the Bose they replicate the sound perfectly. Bose equipment has a reputation for placing the sound forward and these did just that. Let me point out though that these are not any good for recording, monitoring or mixing. The do not reproduce flat - which is what you need for mixing - but do have a terrific sound that with slight eq ( I had to increase the treble) are a match for anything I've used for playback.I've read that someone fitted them and they didn't work...What I will say is these are small and fragile. They must be handled carefully. When soldering you must simply dab the solder once (quickly) and off because I am certain if you leave the iron on the spot for more than 3 seconds they will damage the fragile wiring.I've also read that someone fitted them and they have too much bass.......this to me is good because the lower end is harder to reproduce than the high end, and as I said I added some treble and it sorted it.I've also read that someone fitted them and they distorted at high volume.... I wound mine up to beyond comfortable and didn't get any distortion so possibly their bottom end was to high?At the end of the day these are as cheap as chips, though I do realise you obviously want them to work, when you are spending such a small amount on headphone drivers I wouldn't embarrass myself by posting that you expected them to be as good as the real deal.......I love them and if they last me a couple of years I will be even more ecstatic.

Quick fix but borderline useless
The media could not be loaded. Some low frequencies sound distorted at high volumes. Pinching high frequency noise, barely noticeable when wearing the headphones but gets very bad when removed. This can be seen in the video, where I only replaced one speaker. Putting my hand in front of it seem to trigger the sound.
