A Mouse That Exceeds Expectations In Every Field
My old, budget mouse was breaking, with tons of little issues piling up as the days went by, and so I was really struggling with it - I needed an upgrade, and fast. Fortunately, whilst browsing my options, I came across the G502 Lightspeed Mouse. I was initially put off by the price, as well as the fact that it came with software that was highly recommended (which I have had a bad experience with in the past), but I decided to take the plunge and fork over the money for an upgrade. After using this mouse for just under a month, I can VERY comfortably say that it is worth every penny that I had paid, and even if I hadn't got it in a sale, I would've still been more than satisfied with my purchase. The mouse fits like a glove, and doesn't feel too small and cramped nor does it feel too big - it's a perfect fit for any sort of hand. Each extra button on the mouse feels reachable easily, with nothing being too much of a stretch, making it a good pick for those who need it for any activities that require extra buttons. The RGB works like a charm, as expected, but the real star of the show is the rechargable batteries. I have a lot of settings modified that can affect battery life, and considering I use my mouse most of the day, I would usually end up draining the battery pretty quickly. Not this mouse, however - it can somehow last half a week, maybe close to a week on a single charge, and when low or empty, all it takes is a few hours on the bundled USB charger and it's good to go from full again. It even works whilst charging and plugged in, so if you really want a wired mouse, that's fine too - the options are limitless. The mouse is also one of the most sturdy that I've not only had myself, but ever had the pleasure of using - it feels like this can stand years of heavy wear, and from other reviews I've seen, it definitely can; and, to add even more to the bells and whistles that this mouse touts, it even comes with a selection of 2g and 4g weights, if the mouse feels too light - it truly has everything to appease even the most picky of mouse-users.When it comes to the software - Logitech GHub - I can honestly say that this is one of the most straightforward, userfriendly experiences that I've had with any software for a mouse or keyboard. You can easily create an account, register your device to claim your warranty should anything go wrong (which it shouldn't - the build quality is immaculate!) and gain access to a whole variety of settings. The DPI on the G502 can go up to a whopping 25600 - it can be set at any speed between 0 and 25600 for those who really need a specific DPI, and also has a button that can change the DPI for moments when you really need precision. Each button can not only be customised - right down to the battery level indicator if you really need - but you can even add custom settings for different programs and games, for those who switch between their desktop and other applications constantly. And, the cherry on top: customisable RGB, of course. In conclusion, I have to give this mouse a five star review in every single category. It's extremely accurate, customisable, fits perfectly into the hand and stays comfortable even under long use, and of course, has everything to appease gamers, workers and pretty much anyone who's at least semi serious about using a mouse for more than just ordering their online shopping. If you can afford it, it's worth every penny and more, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat - this is my favourite mouse of all time, and judging from every single factor I've listed above, I doubt that will ever change.

Probably the best gaming house out there
Well built, light and responsive mouse. Works both plugged in and with the adapter. Each and every single button can be easily customized with the software provided and has extensive macro support. A must for anyone who considers themselves a gamer.Wish I bought it sooner.

Great mouse and it's without a tail.
I love Logitech mice always good quality and most reliable. This one is no different.I've always liked their button that can make the scroll wheel freewheel so it's easy to zip up and down pages etc. I've not seen this on any other mouse (not saying other companies don't have this, I've just not seen it)I do mostly gaming and I was a bit concerned over going wireless and the associated lag. I can honestly say that I've not noticed any lag and this works as good as any wired Logitech gaming mouse I've used in the past. I use this in conjunction with Logitech's Powerplay wireless charging mouse pad and it keeps my mouse charged without having to put the mouse on a dock or attach to a charging lead.Usual, easy to use software and associated led programmes come with it or you can download it.

Works like a charm
Upgrading from a wired g402 to this has been pleasing. Work very well and feels nice. You can use it wired with the mini usb cable that comes with it or wirless.

A great upgrade from the wired G502
Excellent mouseI've been using the wired G502 for a number years and it's been fine; it has never caused me any issue.I decided to upgrade to the wireless version, and I really should have done it much sooner! Not having a wire makes such a difference to gameplay. The packaging is excellent, and well laid out.It was 75% charged out of the box, but charged it fully using the supplied cables. It worked immediately after turning it on , and plugging the receiver into the extension cable.NOTE: DO use the extender cable and have the receiver close to the mouse. The manual states a nominal distance of 20cm between the mouse and the receiver. The mouse will work at greater distances, but it WILL impact the battery life, and performance. The weights are more convenient to install (than the older model), as they're slightly smaller in size. The extra button are so useful. I've been playing Fallout 4 for a while, and having Pip-boy functions mapped to the extra mouse buttons is a real game-changer.Download the Logitech app, to control the mouse settings. It makes things so much easier.(I turned off the RGB faffery straight away and the app notified me of a several hour increase in battery life).I tried the mouse with a 6-hour DOOM gaming session, and the mouse was flawless. No issues at all.Not getting angry due to a snagged mouse cable made the session all the more enjoyable.TIP:I put the mouse in my basket and left it for a while.I would recommend checking on CamelCamelCamel for previous price pricing, and when the price goes in the right direction, buy it sharpish (this mouse went from 86 - 99 - 82 - 76 quid, which is where I bought it).I consider it well worth the money at that price.I'm now just waiting for the charging mat to come down in price now, too...
