Great For Cats...Not So Much Cat Fur
I'll be honest. These are completely ineffective in the laundry. I've had a variation of these around for, gosh, 25 years.I suppose if you filled your entire washing machine AND entire drier with one vinyl windbreaker and a bushel of these it might work, but all they ever did for me was mock and sneer at me when I opened the lid.So why DID I give it 5 stars? Because over the decades, every cat, all that I've owned and gifted these to love these. They love the texture. They love smacking them into walls and doors at 3 am.Here's the thing...the Velcro-like stuff let's them carry them around with their teeth. If they haven't been declawed, they can pick them up with their paws. They will ignore every other dang expensive toy I buy if I give them a choice. Plus they look stupid adorable carrying them around in their mouths. If this tells you anything, Rocky, my 1 year old, will carefully put them away in her special spot when she's through playing with them. 4 of them live there. If she smacks one where she can't reach it, she'll cry until I get it for her. Of the very few things she's learned (besides sitting on my hands when I'm writing Amazon reviews) is, "Where's your ball?" She'll go off to search for it...well, for 10 seconds or so.So if these have absolutely failed to pull any cat fur out of your clothes, try giving them to your cat to play with. That's literally the only reason I buy them!

Doesn’t pick up lint much
These lint balls did not work to my expectations in the dryer. I do not see much lint on them at all. They fall out of the dryer and roll across the floor.

HUGE AMOUNT OF STATIC CLING
I don’t know if anybody else had this problem so I have a pitbull and he sheds ridiculously but he has short hair so I let him lay on a blanket at the end of my bed to sleep at night so I just washed all of his blankets they are small blankets so they were like five blankets I threw them into the dryer with two dryer sheets and the full pack of balls which were like 36 912 balls or 10 balls when I just went to take them out of the dryer I had so much electric static cleaning all of the blankets were sticking together they were like electric static so bad and I have never had that problem with just washing and drying without the balls never so these balls are actually supposed to almost replace dryer sheets based on what it says on the product description but now I have to work even harder and redo to get rid of the static cling from the blankets so as far as hair removal I don’t know if it worked or it didn’t work because I don’t see any hair that was collected on the balls and the blankets you can’t really see his hair because it’s so fine and it’s white so I’m gonna try it on something black that I just put in the dryer that I can visibly see the dog Charon and I’m gonna see if the balls collect the hair off of that garment it’s just one garment but I definitely don’t like the fact that I have all the static cling like I can’t I can’t deal with that like that’s no a big no

Works
Use this on light loads when drying for maximum effectiveness. Also I found it is wonderful for individual items for "touch up" jobs. For example, I have a large black throw pillow collects hair so easily. I toss it in the dryer (on low) with one of these balls for about five to ten minutes and it comes out with almost all hair removed.

Pet hair relief
These little gems are the bomb! Throw them in the washer after loading it and they do their magic! While they don’t remove all of the hair it gets the majority. Remove the hair from each ball so they continue to work at maximum level and use them over and over. Highly recommend!

They don't work!
We have two dogs. Their hair is making it difficult to clean the lint trap on my dryer. I've tried this product in both washer and dryer and after several uses, I have not seen a single pet hair on them. My biggest catch was 1 human hair. They do not work at all. Spend your money on some good lint rollers instead.

They really work!
I'm so happy with these! I wear alot of black clothing which shows dog hair bad. Even after washing and drying I have to use a sticky roller to get all the hair off. I used these balls in my last load and my black clothing came out perfectly clean! I didn't have to use the roller all. I was very impressed! I like that they can be used in the washer and dryer. They are a little loud in the dryer but it's worth it.

Reusable yes, but may need 40 per load
It doesn't really do much, my neutered dog collects more fur than these dryer balls

Useless
Absolutely useless. Didn't pick up any dog hair whatsoever , does stick to clothing though. Only used twice and the mesh is coming off, waste of money.
