There are 14 g of sugar in 1/4 cup of the subject reduced sugar cranberries and since there are 4 g in a teaspoon of sugar that means that there is over a Tablespoon of sugar in 1/4 cup of these reduced sugar cranberries. Since Cranberries are relatively sour, perhaps this amount is comparable with the amount of natural and added sugars in your average dried fruit. Perhaps a best comparison would be to judge the amount of fiber per amount of sugar to decide what product is best for you. John Oliver's show recently called for improved truth in labelling that would supply the volume instead of just the number of grams. As a result, I looked at the label of a favorite yogurt and found that the tiny Yoplait container had over two tablespoons of added sugar, perhaps augmented by the amount naturally found in the fruit that was present! No wonder our populace is struggling with diabetes issues.

1/4 Cup/40 g Sugars 14g = (okay, I know you requested solely that simple answer, but just to make sure to avoid misunderstanding and make sure you've all the info you need, esp. in case you're a low carber- or in case someone else is interested-- carbs 31 g, fiber 10 g).

Q: Are these ocean spray brand? Someone said they were in white unmarked bag?

I’ve ordered this Ocean Spray product for several years and all have been in sealed labeled bags with familiar logos I would be suspicious of product packaged in plain white bags as they probably would be the result of tampering. Send them back is what I would do.

The package I received is 43 oz. Will add how fresh the cranberries are---great value. Without the additional sugar.
