I've been using Zaffiro Pro's for the last eight years, cyling about 1000 miles a year (all weathers), and in that time I've probably only suffered around one puncture a year (on average).Factoring in cost, longevity and ease of fitting I've stuck to this brand and model, I got three years out of my last pair, but I usually change them more regularly.Only gripe is they have changed the construction slightly, different tread pattern and increased pressure range, and they were harder to fit than the last versions.Pound for pound an excellent all round tyre.

I really enjoyed using this tyre. The wet surface grip is very good indeed, even on steep curving descents. I really threw everything thing at this tyre - I even (ab)used it off-road lots of times on sharp gravel and mud tracks in the African bush - it had little to no grip as expected, but was surprisingly stable and tough.The wear rate was pretty good overall but the side walls started to show some cracking after about 6 months. This didn't affect the performance though.Definitely a recommended product.

Amazing tyres, I searched for weeks in what tyres to buy for bad weather, I live in Scotland so it can be quite rough sometimes with a lot of bumpes, but this tyres are gorgeous on the bike, and they perform super great, and I cycle in town quite fast with cars with sharp turns, never felt it even trying to slip, maintains grip very well even in the rain.Definitely will buy again when needing to be replaced

OK so they’re a folded tyre but they took a bit of convincing to stay put whilst trying to fit them. Plenty of patience rewarded with a smooth ride and good grip in the wet.

Great tyres for all round winter rides. These fitted on easy compared to the continentals I normally ride on.If I do puncture I know these tyres can be removed on the side of the road with ease.I’ve ridden on these tyres three times in harsh weather conditions and rough carriageways with confidence. Great purchase.

Top quality winter tyre, slow wearing. Has easily matched a tyre I bought at twice the price.

i ride a hybrid bike and i decided to swap my old 32c tires for these thinner ones, i can feel the difference and they ride smoothly and possibly a tad faster than my older tyres, i did around 1000 miles so far, happy with them

No problems after 200 miles cycling in the winter in Scotland on bad roads.

Aggiornamento (Febbraio/Marzo 2021): recentemente Vittoria ha aggiornato il disegno del battistrada di questa tipologia di copertura e quindi non più disponibile con il disegno delle immagini dell'annuncio di vendita, verifica che può essere effettuata da chiunque acquistando il prodotto oppure verificando direttamente sul sito del produttore. Allego immagini inerenti il nuovo disegno avendo recentemente acquistato coperture con battistrada da 25 e da 28, inoltre basandomi su alcune risposte su domande poste da altri acquirenti, mi preme evidenziare che i copertoni devono essere sempre montati per il giusto verso di rotazione. Il verso di rotazione viene sempre indicato sulla spalla del battistrada!Ho acquistato principalmente questa tipologia di copertone della Vittoria principalmente per il costo d’acquisto molto favorevole abitualmente proposto da Amazon, decisamente inferiore rispetto a quanto abitualmente proposto dai vari negozi specializzati che propongono le medesime coperture con rincari alle stelle a cui bisogna aggiungere sovente anche la manodopera per il montaggio. I Zaffiro della Vittoria sono coperture ideali per essere utilizzati tutto l’anno durante gli allenamenti, ovviamente sono leggermente meno performanti rispetto ai Rubino. Detto quanto sopra se non siamo particolarmente interessati ad ottenere dei tempi di rilievo ed a una velocità maggiore con un minor comfort, le coperture Zaffiro sono il giusto compromesso per chi vuole allenarsi e fare del buon cicloturismo.Per questa versione ho effettuato due acquisti nell’arco di un mese circa, nel primo ordine ho richiesto le 700x32C (coperture di cui ho interesse ad usare durante la stagione autunno/inverno), mentre nel secondo ordine ho richiesto le 700x28C (per ottenere un maggior scorrimento, di conseguenza maggior velocità, avendo sezione ridotta della larghezza del battistrada, 28 anziché 32).Le coperture sono perfettamente idonee e perfette per essere montate sulla mia bici da corsa, più che altro si tratta di una ciclocross di ultima generazione che utilizzo esclusivamente solo su strada e quindi non necessita di coperture tassellate. Come già verificato con coperture di altri produttori e confermato dall’officina di fiducia, entrambe le coperture sono idonee in considerazione del canale effettivo del cerchio e non presentano problemi di compatibilità con eventuale rischio di fuoriuscita dalle sedi di trattenuta del cerchio. Per quanto riguarda il gonfiaggio sulle coperture viene chiaramente indicata la pressione minima e massima, personalmente preferisco attenermi ad 0,5 (1 max) bar in meno rispetto il massimo anteriormente e pressione massima posteriormente.Rispetto a quanto letto in alcune recensioni, personalmente non ho mai riscontrato problematiche con coperture Vittoria, ne più ne meno rispetto ad altre coperture di altri produttori, più che altro frequentemente ho contattato che dipende molto da altri fattori non imputabili alle coperture stesse (pressione di gonfiaggio errata, montaggio errato senza rispettare il verso di scorrimento, uso di una camera d’aria non adeguata alle dimensioni in larghezza del battistrada, sezione del battistrada non adeguato al canale del cerchio, ecc…).Coperture 700x28C costo d’acquisto sostenuto per il singolo copertone 22,65 €Coperture 700x32C costo d’acquisto sostenuto per il singolo copertone 23,98€
