Mark was easy to install just a few minor adjustments , instructions could have been better but got it working with the app and that works good

Meh. The integration gets sloppy and is disconnected a lot.
It often times isn't connected, wont show the lock status on my phone and has only opened the door on the auto-unlock feature a couple of times

Liking it well enough. Was easy to mechanically install, easy to connect to bluetooth, not so easy to connect to wifi. Now that everything is connected and working, it's been great. Not quite 5-star worthy as a result of the connection/set-up challenges - and I am pretty tech savvy.

HARD PASS! Don’t be fooled!
Be forewarned DO NOT BUY! They claim the module integrates with Apple HomeKit but I could never get it to work. It would show up in the Home app but would always say “No Response.” And if you try to remove and re-add it their app will say already paired to a another HomeKit home. And don’t count on any quality customer service. You will hold and hold for up to 20 minutes at times and are subject to the most annoying hold music ever. When you do get someone they’ll go through the same steps I already tried from their online documentation; reset the app and add to HomeKit again. Although you can’t just remove and re-add it to HomeKit. They have to open a ticket and will tell you to wait 48 hours and try to add it again. After waiting I was able to add it to HomeKit again but the same issue occurred, “No Response.” Needless to say I returned the lock and will never purchase a Yale/August device again!

Only lasted 1 year
The lock was amazing….. while it worked. I live with 5 other family members, each of us had access to the lock’s smart home features. It’s been a little over a year (brought for Black Friday in 2020) and the lock no longer works. The app no longer reads the lock’s status (whether it’s locked or unlocked or if the door is opened or closed.) I have done several factory resets on both the lock and the hub and I still run into the same problem. I have changed the batteries multiple times and have tried a variety of different brands. I even removed the lock from the door and checked it’s components to see if anything was stuck or broken. Everything looks fine and I have done extensive troubleshooting….. the lock just simply stopped working. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT LASTS STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCK.

Does not fit
Was replacing a previous dead bolt and latch. There is not enough space between the two components.

We are a family of four and we love it, no key anymore. Works fantastic.

Great Door Lock
Very easy to install. Directions were clear. Did have to call the help line for clarification on something within the accompanying app, and they were helpful. Overall excellent product and would highly recommend!
