My little leaguer became reluctant to getting in the batting cage to hit off the pitching machine at 40 mph. It was stinging his hands with the metal bat too badly. I ordered 3 different types of vibration dampers. This one works very well and he has gone back to being aggressive with the machine. He really likes this one.

I got this for my son who plays 10U baseball. It fit his bat well and helps not only with sting but to choke up as well.

Purchased this knob due to rough knob on my bat. It does slide off but able to put it in place between at bats

Edit: Bought mid January and just noticed here at the beginning of April that the thing is falling apart already. He's barely used the bat that this is on so I'd say the durability is about as poor as it gets. It's splitting in two different locations and basically falling off. I'd be more upset if this was more expensive but still not worth the $5-6 it costs.Unless you have a giant knob on your bat, this thing will fit poorly. For reference, my 12yo son is using it on a Rawlings 5150, which has a small knob, but I don't see this fitting on even his CAT 9. We bought hoping it would reduce some of the sting and pressure on his bottom hand when swinging the allow 5150. In that sense, it does seem to help but it just kind of dangles over the knob instead of fitting correctly. It's the best/cheapest solution I could find though and my son doesn't really mind. Install was easy.

Takes away the bat sting

The product works but it's about 1/100th the quality of rubber as the Easton brand.. this broke after 2 weeks.. Easton's has lasted 1.5 years on another bat so far.

My son loves this shock absorber. It hasn't come off his bat since we bought it. It's durable and seems like it will last for awhile
