Brach's Autumn Mix, 11oz Bag of Candy (Pack of 2)

Showed up on time. Nice and fresh candy. Wasn’t sure if candy would be stale. But to my surprise nice and fresh.

The Harvest mix is nice and fresh. Received in a timely manner, too.

Candy was crushed together in bags. Seems old and second rate favor.

This is the second time I've ordered them tasty and good value.

Every Autumn I look forward to Brach’s Halloween candy. I was very happy to see that it was still for sale on Amazon. While the candy is fresh, with a use by date several months ahead, I was disappointed that many pieces of the candy corn were broken. Now the candy was bought for just me and for no other occasion, and it was still a disappointment. While I can say that the candy tastes just like I remember, my advice is to buy it at your local store, and just buy a couple more to have in reserve.

I read the reviews; despite the negative reviews I still ordered on a leap of faith. As soon as they arrived, without even opening the bag(s) of this candy I could tell it was bad. Both bags were very stiff, felt like bricks; I let the bags rest for a couple days to see if the candy would loosen up having come to room temp but they did not. I opened the bags and had to discard both of them ~ I couldn’t even just use the candy for display; you couldn’t even tell the pumpkins were pumpkins due to all the candy was completely smashed/melted together, breaking them apart only left you with unrecognizable pieces of candy. I tasted some of it just out of curiosity and that was just as bad ~ it was like you took a bite out of a wax candle ~ no flavor. Sorry, but other customers need to know ~ buyer beware.

These and Hershey's kisses are the only things I "hoarded" during this virus pandemic. They were fresh and the shipping was super fast, considering the storm we are in.
