Important office companion!
I love this gadget! It can handle Photoshop 2023 and above. The touchscreen is very responsive.

You get what you pay for.
Yes I have it five stars because you get what you pay for. I purchased this for myself. Great price but than 99.99 for office and another 99.99 to upgrade to pro 10. I don’t suggest purchasing home s. Apps are very limited. I had to get out of “s” to load turbo tax which I assume is not paying Microsoft a app fee. I like the size smaller than my last laptop. My hard drive went out. I can travel easier with it. I do like the upgrades from my 7 year old HP.Lesson learned as far as the add-one I had to purchase.. the hp I bought at Costco came loaded with the software included. I suggest lookin* at the difference. I read I could upgrade to pro 10 for fifty bucks but That was not made available to me. Should have spend the extra 60 to buy next level up. Dell is a good product I used them for years on the job and the CPU I owned. The HP kept giving my Bios issues. I am not a expert but I think theHP programming was wrong wired somewhere. Start took for ever, I did go through and remove as many apps as allowed. My two cents 😁Deliver same day which is nice.

Great for teaching from home!
I upgraded to this laptop because my school is doing home learning due to COVID-19. This laptop is perfect for my needs!Pros-The camera is very high quality and allows me to record good videos of me teaching. I'm impressed by the battery life! I was able to download all applications I needed to teach from home. The touchscreen allows me to draw, write, highlight, and much more!Cons- It came saying the windows was invalid (allowing the laptop to troubleshoot itself solved this problem). It took me a few tries to disable the 10s mode. That mode wouldn't allow me to download Google Chrome which I need for my online teaching.Overall, I would recommend, but keep in mind you will need to be a little tech savvy to get it running. Once you get it set up it's smooth sailing!

Excellent laptop for students and daily work
I love this laptop so much, it's just what I wanted. The reasons why I'm not giving it the full 5 stars is because 1) the screen quality is not the best and 2) if you plan to upgrade the RAM memory card make sure you have a good screwdriver kit, because this thing was HARD to open. The installation of the RAM card was very difficult because of the way it was designed, it has little space to work on and the angle to insert the RAM card was very uncomfortable. After I finished inserting the card and was proceeding to screw back the bottom panel, I noticed that the quality of the screws weren't the best and I could already see that the base upon which it makes contact with the point of the screwdriver was already worn out, so I'm not sure if I will be able to open it again (I might have to change all the screws just to be safe). Also! It doesn't come with backlit keyboard as I thought it would because of the picture they used in here (the F10 button shown here has printed the light icon which is misleading).Other than that, it is an EXCELLENT laptop, I'm not sure why is receiving so many negative comments. The one that I purchased is a Dell Inspiron 14 5481 2 in 1 convertible with 4 GB RAM (after the upgrade it now has 12GB) and 128 GB SSD, it comes with Windows 10 S but you can switch it to the normal Windows 10 with no problems at all. This laptop is fast, lightweight, and I love the grey metallic color on it. It runs any program and handles multitasking quite easily. The battery life unplugged is about 5 hours which is decent, and as I said before, the screen angle is not the best, you'll have to position the screen and move around the position of the laptop to get the best out of the screen but don't let this discourage you not buying it.

Great laptop/tablet
Within minutes, I was up and running. Great little laptop - and the Black Friday price was a steal. Very happy. Touch screen, tablet mode and laptop all work as expected. Yes, Windows 10S was not sufficient for me (I’m a Google power-user) so I turned off S mode - it was free for me - once I logged into my Microsoft Account.I do miss a back lit keyboard. And I’d love a stylus..... but over all, a good machine.

Dell Inspiron Is Reliable
Dell makes fine products but there are some features that work best in my experience because the Inspiron is more comfortable than any of Dell’s other products; this model is inexpensive yet all the features work as easily as a more expensive model; as technology advances there are many new challenges and it takes time and patience to learn ... a new ending task for non professionals!

Just absurd!
Bought this for my daughter (was 8 at the time) who was very gentle with it and followed all of my care instructions to a T. I've had a close relationship with computers since 1990 and helped build my first when I was 10...I know what I'm about and have taught my kids how to take care of things that are valuable bc frankly we aren't rich. That said, I was pretty disappointed when one of the hinges started coming loose within a month. Then the display started coming apart from the outer casing. It hadn't been dropped or handled roughly. Within 3 months, half the keyboard was unresponsive and the laptop would barely charge. By 6 months, it was randomly overheating and shutting off, until the day it wouldn't power back on at all.Up to this point, I had used Dell products off and on for over 20 years so I had felt like this was a safe purchase from a brand I could trust. This laptop though...it was such a flaming pile of garbage that I almost want to laugh because I didn't think that assembly this shoddy was even possible for a brand new, well known laptop brand. It's the laptop equivalent of that car in that old Chris Farley movie, and if you know what I'm talking about, you'll understand the confusion of whether to laugh or cry. For the love of pie, if enjoy having money at all, DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP. Unless you enjoy awkwardly sized paperweights, that is.

Good Value for Basic Use
This was a good value. I bought it for my daughter for basic use. She can use it for school and play Roblox and Minecraft on it. She is happy with it and so am I. It’s fast and the touch screen is fun to use. Feels durable as well.
