Advil Migraine Liquid Filled Capsules 20ct 200mg Advanced Medicine For Pain (Pack of 2)

I recently tried Motrin (which is also ibuprofen) and it didn't work. Just didn't work. How strange. So I won't be buying anything but this. I do have a couple of migraine prescription drugs for really bad ones. But Advil is usually able to be enough, and keeps me from having to use them as often. Except if I wake up with a migraine. Unfortunately those are usually already too far along. Not fair.I also appreciate that Advil doesn't contain caffeine like some migraine drugs do such as Excedrin, because caffeine can cause rebound migraines the next day. And for me the rebound headache is always worse. Like I made it mad or something lol.Anyone who shares this awful affliction knows that all that matters in those moments is that you have something that works. That you can count on. There isn't time to mess around with anything else. A migraine that gets out of control while you're waiting for relief is no joke.That reminds me… I also have Advil Minis. I can use those for migraines that I catch right away before they start to get bad. Or that come on slowly. And the Minis are usually enough to stop it in its tracks. The less I have to take the better. But I'm really glad to have both on hand when needed.PS: I've known for a long time that one of my migraines triggers is low blood sugar, from going too long without eating. But I recently discovered that sugar can be very helpful to resolve a migraine that is dragging on and on. Or to "kill" a migraine that is still escalating after I take whichever medication. I try to limit my sugar intake, for all the reasons, but for this I take a high dose of sugar. Like half a soda. Usually about 25mg. Which is a lot. But it seems to do whatever needs to be done up there in my head. Thank goodness.Ginger can also be a big help. I use a strong ginger tincture from Herb Pharm. It stings! (I dilute it with the Vanilla Almond Milk Coffee Creamer from Califia Farms—which can also be a good source of quick sugar instead of the soda.) But it can help. Whatever works, right? Deep breathing for instance is one of the best things I've found to prevent a migraine in the first place. Something about maintaining a good blood oxygen level. And of course, sleep. Not cutting your sleep. Important for everything.

Useful to have in the rotation if the regular migraine meds aren't doing the job and if you aren't wanting caffeine. I am not sure how these are different from regular Advil but they seem to work when I need them.
