I deal with PCOS and the lovely symptoms that come with it. What I have noticed though, it has reduced the growth of my facial hair. That is the reason I purchased this. I was hoping it would trigger a period to start but it hasnt, but the reduction in facial hair alone is worth the purchase!

I'm a 39 y/o woman with PCOS and one of the worst things for me has been the extreme unwanted hair growth on my face and around my navel especially. I also had laser hair removal done on my arms and lower legs many years ago, but the PCOS brought it back somewhat. I heard something about the benefits of spearmint on a PCOS podcast and decided to give this a try. I take two each evening and it's REMARKABLE how quickly the amount of unwanted hair has decreased across the board!! I was plucking like crazy and shaving every single day and I can now say that I no longer have to pluck along my jawline and SO MUCH LESS on my chin and upper lip! I've also noticed a SUBSTANTIAL decrease in the hair growth on my arms and legs. They're almost back to the way they were post laser hair removal.I have not noticed any negative side effects and will continue taking this supplement for as long as I feel is needed to kick my PCOS into submission. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS which, I suspected for years due to excessive facial hair growth, but I guess as I've gained more weight and gotten older (32) it has gotten worse. I now have cyst on my ovaries, acnes, and infertility, and of course I have to pluck EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I swear, I think I get them all and by the next day i feel some short thick stub and more strays that come out of no where lol.. I'm convinced they grow overnight lol.I started taking these capsules along with drinking more than 2 cups of Traditional Medicine spearmint tea daily (no sweetener added.) I have definitely noticed a difference in my facial hair growth. It hasn't grown back as thick and I'm more so plucking smaller fine hair. There's still some random dark hairs but it's not as much as before.I have been taking the capsules since May 20, 2020 and drinking the tea since May 22, 2020. I'm going to continue and see if there will more improvement. I'm on my second bottle of the 500mg for now incase my body builds up a tolerance to it, i bought the 1000mg spearmint capsules as well.Hope my review will help those going through the same condition I'm dealing with. My excess hair is my biggest insecurity but these remedies seems to be helping. Wish me luck to reduce it significantly and God willing, permanently go away lol. (Wishful thinking)I only gave 4 stars because I drink spearmint tea too so I'm unsure if its more so one over the other thats making the difference. Either way it seems to be have helping. Also, I wish there were more capsules. U get 100 caps in a bottle and take 4 caps a day which is only 25 days worth. I read a lot of info from other people with PCOS that this improved their unwanted hair growth. These did not cause anything negative, but I personally did not notice a difference in the 3 months or so of taking them daily.This exact product/brand was recommended by others though so seems to help some folks!
