Does the job
Well built usual Panasonic quality. Bought this for irrigating tooth extraction site as the blood clot had come out and exposed the bone/nerves and didn’t want difficult to remove food to cause infection. The soft setting did the job perfectly keeping the site clean after each meal. The jet mode is powerful enough to remove food from between the teeth and the regular mode also does the job well and can also massage the gums. I don’t like the non li-on battery as there is no indication of when it is fully charged and Panasonic recommend running the battery right down before recharging (which means a 15 hour wait) never the less it does last a long time on one charge. The water tank is too small and I found it needed between 2 and 4 refills for a floss or soft mode irrigation although I could complete this on one tank if rushed it, but that wouldn’t produce a good clean in my view. Compared to my old water pick this is a vast improvement. I would recommend this device to anyone looking for a quality product,

Overall a good purchase.
I've had this product for approx 6 months now and it gets regular use.Only charged a couple of times and therefore its a 5 star for the battery life. The air and water jet is particularly effectivelyThe water tank is a little small.. I refil after the bottom teeth then start the top but this depends on how thorough you are / time you take... remember yo put warm water in ad cold is a little shocking.. you soon rememberIt's too easy to change settings whilst using but that's a minor gripe. The unit gets wet but is easy to dry .I use this in partnership with my electric toothbrush and so far so good. My teeth always feel clean after use and as for the claim to improve gum health... don't know how you can judge that but I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend if your inthe market for a water flosser.

Great to use, a bit low pressure, broke after 6 months.
I bought this after using a cheaper Chinese brand water flosser which broke within 3 months. As Panasonic is a large brand, I thought it would be more reliable. It worked fine for about 5-6 months, the pressure is a little bit low and the tank is a bit small but it felt sturdy. Then it randomly just stopped working. I can charge it, press the on button but nothing happens other than the light turning on. Disappointed as I'm now going to have to buy a third different brand.

Very good item
Well made & finished, Usual panny quality. Holds plenty of water and the battery charge lasts for ages. Best with bottled water at room temperature. Effective cleaning with plain water only, can be a bit messy at first until you get skilled at using it. Using it in the shower cuts the splash issue. Great bit of kit, highly recommended.

Probably as good as any but some issues
This is a difficult review to write because at least one of my reservations is my own fault! First however it works, dislodging food particles successfully from my newly and expensively acquired bridge. In this respect I imagine it is as good as other premium brands and probably a lot better than cheap ones.I bought this model because of its small footprint on my crowded bathroom shelf but the small water tank runs out half way round my teeth and has to be refilled and the whole unit must be held vertical in use which takes getting used to. With hindsight i would have bought the static tank model for more capacity and greater flexibility.Other quibbles. The jet locks in but rotates freely which I find incomprehensible but it can be restrained with one finger if you have reasonably large hands (doesn't work for my wife) and the charging system is weird - NiMh not LiIon for a start, warning not to leave it on charge and the charge light doesn't go out when fully charged - Ugh!Overall however well made and effective so I shall live with the irritations

Low pressure, unreliable junk
Bought this at the start of December 2023. Before the end of the month the On/Off button stopped working.I tried draining out the water, cleaning and drying it over several days. While empty & dry the On/Off button started working again temporarily. However, as soon as we put water in the device it stopped working again. This product didn't even last 1 month! Can't believe this has happened with this model. We previously purchased the Panasonic EW1411 in December 2022 and that one only lasted 3 months before developing a fault (randomly turning itself on/off overnight, waking us up), after which we had to return it for a refund. Getting a refund wasn’t easy either, as Amazon first bounced us to Panasonic to deal with it, then Panasonic didn’t want to deal with it at all and referred us back to Amazon… I had to find a way to Chat Online with Amazon customer support to explain the situation after which they thankfully agreed to issue a refund for us, after we returned the item to them. I've since noticed Panasonic have discontinued that prior EW1411 model on their own website. It’s a shame as the original EW1211 model we bought many, many years ago is still working (and has a better water pressure jet than the EW1311) but runs out of batteries very quickly now hence we were trying to get a new replacement.I will now avoid buying any more Panasonic Oral Irrigator products as they are clearly now making absolute junk.
