In todays agnostic environment, I feared presenting this to my Grandson because his Dad is certain that what ails the world is religion. I disagree and so does his son. I think it is important for children to know about the Bible stories. After all Christianity IS our history and an integral part of our American culture. Now, so is Minecraft! What I have done to enhance the message is to identify the lessons (moral) of each chapter and correlate it back to the 10 Commandments. So, I typed up a little comment as to the criteria I just mentioned and inserted (like a bookmark) at the end of each chapter. Who would not want their child to understand the complexity and consequences of human emotions and how to appropriately control them.

My 6 year old daughter loves this Bible. For the most part it's paraphrased and limited, but it can get her into reading the Bible. I hope this will give her insight into the Word of God and also help her become literate. She's very math oriented. Top in her class in math and bottom in reading. She's fascinated by books and is very sentimental. Loves Jesus. Loves books. Loves Minecraft. Does not like reading for long periods but likes to be read to.

This book is a wonderful tool to get the Bible into children's hands. My grandchildren ate it up when it came and fought over it so much I had to get two of them so they didn't have to share. Love it

I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered the “The Unofficial Holy Bible” for my kids. I was blown away when I received it. It is a large book filled with the important stories of the Bible told through the use of Mindrcaft style graphics that kids can relate as it is the most popular video game in the world. This book will sure to provide endless hours of entertainment for my kids. No Christian home with kids should be without it.

Bought it as a gag for the apartment, haven't looked back.

My MInecrafters, loved this! They read as a group each night because no one wanted to wait. When they were done my older daughter grabbed it. It's a great introduction to some of the Bibles best stories through a platform that they are interested in and can relate to. The pictures are awesome and they've since gone onto their worlds to try to create things from this book. i've seen several arcs, and whales:)

I got this book as a gift for my nephew for his First Holy Communion. He loves Minecraft, and so do I. I am not religious, but wanted to gift him something that would be relevant to his religious teachings. I figured that between all of the other family members, he'd receive plenty of the traditional Communion gifts, and thought it would be fun to get him something a bit less traditional. He LOVED it.

My 6 year old loves this bible. It has enough humor and "plot" in it to keep her attention and enough Bible stories for her to be learning.
