Basic brush that works and is a good price.

I read the reviews, reviewed the product information, crossed my fingers and ordered this brush and when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The brush is well built and looks sturdy. The bristles are not flimsy and look like they can withstand a good blow dry (more on this later), and my thick hair. The vents in the back of the brush have a good air tunnel to shorten the blow dry time, which is good. I like everything about this brush except for one thing...the painted white bristles.The brush I saw in the ad, had all black bristles, no white paint on the bristles at all, however, the one I was sent was a different variation and had painted white bristles that will potentially melt off while blow drying and flake off in your hair. I have posted pictures of the black bristles on the online pictures and pictures of the brush I was sent with white bristles. I don't know why they did this unless it was done for aesthetic reasons. I wanted the all black bristle brush and the only thing I can think to do is return this brush and hope I get sent the variation with all black bristles.By the way, I did try reaching out to the supplier, but AI is taking over and I just went around the merry-go-round without talking to anyone and getting canned or useless answers. If the supplier reaches out, I will follow-up with this review.

I truly like this brush for styling. I have another I use to stimulate my scalp, then this one puts my hair in place. It’s the perfect size & ergonomically friendly to my hand.

Love this brush. Perfect for blow drying and getting volume.

**Update 2/26/20** The company has been very responsive and provided me with a prompt refund. In addition, they let me test out a new hair brush that doesn't have paint on the bristles. Works great. Bumping them up a couple stars. They seem to really want to get a good product out there and they appreciate the feedback.I purchased this hairbrush two months ago and really liked it at first. It has very sturdy bristles that do feel good against the scalp (mileage may vary on this, as the sturdy bristles can hurt somewhat depending on the pressure you use). However, I've come to find after two months of use that the bristles should really be a little bit longer. They are shorter than what I've used on other brushes. But what really has compelled me to give this one-star rating, is that the white coating on the bristle arms is starting to peel off and ends up in your hair (for a second I thought I had dandruff!). It seems like it's white paint (see attached photos). Not sure what the purpose of this coating is, other than appearance. Very strange. I know it's only a hairbrush, and it's not the end of the world (there are other reasons the world is ending - he's fat, orange, lies a lot and lives in a white house), but you do use a brush every day. It needs to be durable and last for some time. Not two months and then flake paint off into your sexy mane. Hopefully, the paint is lead-free.

The brush has worked great for several months. Comfortable handle. Looks new still!
