Nutri-Vet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil for Dogs, 13.5-Ounce

This is great stuff for the dogs. I use the salmon oil at least 3 days a week. My dogs lick it up like a snack. It's a healthy oil that I can top off my dog food with it or just give it to them separate. It's a universal oil that is good for them.

Upon bringing the package in my dog was EXTREMELY excited so i immediately knew the product was leaking, and I was correct. I opened the blue and white bubble wrap bag the bottle was in and inside that was the bottle half way wrapped in a plastic bag, the pump was open and oil EVERYWHERE. The smell isn’t bad tho, not as fishy as I expected. I immediately put it on some of my dogs food and she loved it. I wish I had taken a picture of the packaging but there was oil all over the place so I really couldn’t. Besides that my dog loved it, i’ll update this review later if I notice a difference in her coat, which is the main reason I bought this.

It states on this item returnable until January 31, 2025. This product came badly damaged. The packaging was not proper for this item, I’ve ordered it in the past it was very well protected and in a box not a soft envelope. This oil also has a rancid smell which in the past it hasn’t smelled this way. When I tried to return the oil it gave me a message not returnable. I plan to contact Nutrivet to let them know about this.

The review asked me about the flavor. I didn't taste it but I out one squirt in my pup water and she drinks the entire bowl!!!I like to put it in the water to make sure she is hydrated well in her puppy stage.She Loves it and her coat looks Amazing!

My dogs have been enjoying this wild salmon oil for many months. I alternate this with the one with probiotics added, and they really don't care. They just like the taste. I like the pump bottles that this comes in and have never had any issues with them. I have trusted this brand for years and am satisfied with this product, as are my dogs. Their shiny coats attest to its quality, and it doesn't make their breath stink. Win/win.

This is the first time using this oil but I have been giving my dogs mostly fish oils for many many years and recently wild salmon oil. While I'm not doubting this is a good product, I don't like that it is so runny and that I have to "vigorously" shake it before each use, which is not required of any other oil I've used. While shaking it, some of it always leaks out from the pump area and splatters, therefore I must do this over the sink. For these reasons I will choose another oil next time.

LOVE! I put one pump in my dogs food everyday and his coat is amazing! Less shedding, and he doesn't get oily feeling either from too much moisture!

First, I really like this product, it's the only salmon oil that one of my GSDs can tolerate even in the small amounts I give them in spite of their size (one pump).Second, Amazon's customer service is fantastic!Now, while this product is great for my dogs, I have had to have about 2/5ths of them replaced over the 5 years that I have been buying this product regularly through Amazon. The sellers/distributors often do not seal the bottle properly. I receive them two at a time with usually one leaking. The packaging, in plastic and then arriving in a box is fine, so this is not a packaging issue, this is a product issue. I am cancelling my subscribe and save for this product, my last order of two came with one leaking and spoilt. The replacement also came leaking (that was the final straw!), I don't know if that one was spoilt - I couldn't even open the package because it was such a mess! I will now just pay more to buy it at a local retailer :(. Too bad, because I really was getting a better price here for that product, and not everyone carries it. For this, I took off three stars.
