I got this today and so I can't write anything about it. All I know is its very difficult to apply. You need to apply with fingers. I'm giving only one star

Recently I noticed that my Secret for women underarm deodorant was not working as effectively as it used to. How did I know? Well...when washing my shirts, the pit stains and lingering odor was my first clue and second clue. I have heard that you can develop a "resistance" to products over time, or maybe it was due to hormone changes? Who knows? All I knew was that I had to fix this situation. The high ratings and reviews for this product motivated me to order the Dove Clinical Protection.Here is my take:1. Moisture Reduction: Excellent sweat reduction. I have noticed that the moisture marks on my darker shirts is much less than before. Note: I live in Arizona, and it is already 110 degrees and higher here. So my test in this regard was under extreme conditions and the results are all the more impressive.2. Smell Reduction: Excellent results-- Even after a long day, there are no body odors that are noticeable, and even at the end of the day, you can still smell the light fragrance, which is very appealing3. Chalky Marks on Clothes: Great results here--I used to struggle with white chalky marks on the bottom of my shirts when I put on my clothes after applying the deodorant. This does not happen with Dove Clinical Protection. And there does not appear to be a residue on the inside seam line of my armpits. I really appreciate that change!4. Cost: The cost seems high to me, and the amount of product in the container seems low. When you first receive the new dispenser, you have to turn the bottom dial until the creamy deodorant is pushed enough through the holes in the applicator cap. You have to turn the dial pretty far before the first amount is at the top...I estimate that it is less than half full. And for me, the amount that I dispense to cover both armpits seems to be depleting the container quickly. My estimate at this point is that one container may last for 3 weeks, but probably not longer. At almost $7.00 per container, this might get expensive for one person.Bottom Line: Love the performance, but dislike the small amount in the container and the higher price. You have to decide if your need for this high quality product is worth the cost. Right now, my answer is YES-- and I ordered 4 more to have them on hand.

I'm not one of those people who can skip a day of shower or deodorant. I've always needed something strong. I used to use Mitchum but it would leave my pits super dark. Then I used Secret but over time I had to apply it twice (or more) a day. My work required me to move a lot and I sweat a lot.I saw the Dove commercial where women were not afraid to show their armpits. I decided to give it a try. The regular Dove deodorants were ok but some scents make me gag. Then they came out with the Clinical Protection. I've been using it for 4 years. I just have to apply once (2-3 clicks) and I'm good for the whole day.It does leave a film thicker than most deodorants. You just have to scrub it off a little harder in the shower.

Dove Clinical Protection Antiperspirant/Deodorant (Original Clean) has been a mainstay of our household since its appearance on the market. It's such an excellent product that we were all sneaking them from each other so we could use them. Finally, after a family meeting, we decided that we just needed to order them in bulk so that everyone could be happy. That's what we've done now for well over year or more.What is so remarkable about this deodorant/antiperspirant is that it WORKS in a sustained fashion, not just throughout the day, but also over time. Inevitably, after continued use, even good deodorants begin to fail or cause irritation. None of this has happened, ever, with this Dove deodorant. It continues to be as effective and yet delicate to the tissues as it was the first time we used it, never failing, and never once causing irritation. We are believers, and we purchase it by the dozen, as we need it, to be certain that we do not run out.You could have asked me if I'd ever have imagined myself recommending a deodorant, and I would have laughed and said, "Probably not. I don't really see that in my future." However, I must make an exception with this Dove product. It's top of the line, excellent, effective, gentle to the skin, smells fantastic. Best of all, it works and works for the long haul! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Yep, I'm a man and I purchased this product and love it. This deodorant is absolutely perfect at stopping sweat. I live in south Texas and it keeps my dry all day long. The scent on this one is a very mild, almost undetectable when worn. Now, I can't speak for the other scents as they're all quite "girly." Anyway, I asked Dove a question about this product on their FB page. I asked if there was any difference between the men's and women's variety of these deodorants using the active ingredient in these "clinical strength" anti-perspirant deodorants? My reply? Just a smiley face...This product comes out as a very dry powder that somehow sticks together. Strange, right? It goes on very dry and leaves no residue on my clothes. The scent, as I stated, is very mild and not, at least in my opinion, feminine.Give it a try.

Excellent deodorant. Recommended by my dermatologist as I have hyperhydrosis, excessive sweating. Clean, mild scent. Works for more than 24 hrs.
