My ears occasionally get dry and the skin becomes flaky. Being the owner of so many different pairs of over-ear headphones, a lot of things including dirt, dust, bits of skin etc, do accumulate inside the phones over time. I never had the thought to look for protective sleeves that stop things from collecting inside my headphones until recently. After ordering a big pack of these No more stuff getting inside your expensive audio equipment :pThese work quite well as they are considerably stretchy enough to fit on many larger sized headphones. Probably the most important part, to me they feel pretty soft when worn. My ears still comfortably fit inside the phones so there isn't an irritating cramped feeling . And these don't inhibit/muffle the sound any at all from what I experience with these. It's good stuff!

Very useful indeed. Keeps hair, perspiration, dandruff, etc. from contaminating shared headsets, and also protects your own headset from unnecessary wear and tear. I've had one set of these on my personal earphones for three months and they're still in usable condition. A box of these will last me a very long time.

These fit perfectly over the ear pieces of my headphones but I was hopeful to use them on my ears when i go to bed as i put medication ointment on the ear and trying to protect my pillow cases. They are alittle too big for that type of use. They are very good quality and stay in place on the headphones. Unfortunately, I had to buy a huge quantity that i did not really need but they still deserve a good rating.

I am in the studio almost every day using shared headphones that come with the studio. So, I like to bring these to cover the headphone ears as I am not sure how often the phones are wiped down. My colleague calls them my ear condoms. As for comfort, they work fine, but it won't stop your ears from hurting if you are wearing the headphones for a long time like I do. But this is my 2nd box of them. So, they work for me!

I tried these on a pair of AKG k240's. They fit, but make the headphones half way between over ear and on ear. It's still reasonably comfortable to where them, so long as it's not for hours. They do make make it quite hot, though. With the Cosmo pads I used on the AKG k240's, my ears are never hot. With these Hamilton Buhl hygenx45's, I start sweating from where they are touching. This is a concern, in terms of bacteria, as the whole point is headphone sharing. Maybe these are intended for smaller headphones (despite being the largest size). Anyway, for short use, they are appropriate, but they shouldn't be used for longer than 1 hours (at least not in my configuration) as they can cause sweating.

These are Great to keep your Headphones clean as new. They are easy to use, do not affect sound, and cost very little to keep with your Gear. If someone else wants to use your headphones, slip on a new pair, then toss them when he's done. These were very popular years ago, if you remember "Public Telephones" (you put coins in them). These are the 2.5" size, for "On the Ear" Headphones, but there are other sizes available. A Small investment, but well wort it!

Our earphones are so old that we've worn the pad covers right off of them. Can't find replacement earphones that pair with the receiver we have so these covers are a perfect stop-gap until the whole system goes down (in five or so more years). They cover the ear pad parts snuggly and don't slip off (my concern when I saw how small they are). Hubs and I both use them during work-outs and there's no slippage, no discomfort, no distraction. Disposable, probably not washable (though, truth in advertising, we haven't tried and with a box of a hundred, I doubt we will.)

Previously, my students would ask for Lysol wipes to disinfect the class set of headphones. My students used two containers of my Lysol wipes in one week. They used so many that I had to find a better solution. So, when I browsed Amazon for the covers, I found a good price. I gave each of my students a pair for their personal use. My students love the headphone covers. They are so much more convenient, and my Lysol wipes are saved for other cleaning purposes in my classroom. Thanks!
