10x is VERY large
I love the mirror itself. It is a stand-up vanity mirror so it's not for traveling. However, I wished that I realized how much 10 times magnification really is. It is way too much to apply makeup or pluck your eyebrows. But it is a quality piece

Love this Mirror
I bought this one a year ago for my daughter & im getting ready to buy one for myself. For the money I wasn't expecting much. I just wanted a nice size mirror (8 inches) & a High magnification side too (10x). It is that & more - Nice & heavy & crome has held up too. Only downer is that where the column meets the base loosens often but a little twist tightens it up again. I might try a dab of glue if it keeps bothering me.

No light not good to use when you are older
No light not good to use when you are older. I needed a lighted magnifying mirror 10x to15x. I wished I would have returned this product.

Hard to see
Not a bad product. In fact, well made. However, I made a mistake in buying 10x lens. It's too much and hard to get in the right position to see my face for shaving. Go for 7x.

Bought this for my significant other to replace one that dropped and cracked. Same specs, and optically is better than the old one. Seems fairly hefty and stable.

Very disappointed
Mirror was shipped quickly but the face of the mirror has a chip in it on the side. Didn't notice right away....it still has a good magnifying X so I'll keep it but I'm disappointed because it's damaged.
