H&ZYMen Steampunk Vintage Jacket Halloween Costume Retro Gothic Victorian Frock Coat Uniform

This coat is so very well made, it’s a very stunning item but unfortunately it did not fit my husband.. He is not a big individual either.. He generally wears a medium in coats & I ordered him a size 1 XL.. He is 5’10 & 155 lbs, medium frame..I always read the reviews, and sized up (2) full sizes, only to have to return this beautiful coat & will perhaps reconsider ordering him the 2 XXL..My only dilemma however is that while looking at the sizing charts, it’s not much of a size difference, a mere fraction in upping for their largest size..My reason for writing such a lengthy review here, is to the ladies who are looking to purchase such a lovely quality coat for themselves, this 1 XL fit me HaHa almost perfectly! A touch too large but I did not take the time to accentuate my clothing for the fit of myself..Although confused while reading many other reviews, some individuals have no issue with the size, some have issues with the size, unfortunately it honestly just depends upon the person..To summarize, I would highly recommend to size-up “GENTLEMAN” by at least (2) sizes here..And for the lovely “LADIES” I would recommend staying within your current size, based upon my opinion ONLY..I HOPE MY REVIEW WILL HELP BOTH MEN & WOMEN MAKE THE BEST DECISION, AS I UNDERSTAND IT CAN BE A BIT FRUSTRATING..I am not very tall, ( 5’3 - 132 lbs ) the coat is right at the base of both knees, it does not button ( FYI ) but both seems touch in the front, ( it overlaps on me too in the front ) there are no pockets, just simple designs which for this price, it’s still such a great buy.. The sleeves do cover my hands partially also..But Wowwwwww the quality of this coat is absolutely superior!Beautiful material design, the floral inlays are noticeably brilliant!I have shopped literally hundreds & hundreds of seller stores, both online & in person, I have not come across a more durable & high quality coat such as this one in eons seriously!The last time I found something so extremely beautiful was while thrifting!Those of you who thrift know exactly what my meaning here is too..Those wonderful little treasures that we find when we are not even looking!Good luck customers!The coat really is an extraordinarily majestic item!

I really like this Jacket. The material is not too thick or thin. I found it to be very comfortable to wear. The buttonholes are non functional, but not a deal breaker for this price. Normally you probably wouldn't button a Jacket like this anyway. I said it "Fit as Expected", but that is only because I ordered 2 sizes up from my normal size because of the advice I had read of other reviewers. I am 5'7 and around 175 and would normally order a Large. I ordered a XX-Large/2X and it fit me perfect. If the buttonholes were functional, I would be able to button it closed. I know ordering 2 sizes up sounds extreme, but obviously this jacket runs very small. I took the advice of other reviewers and I am very pleased with what I got and didn't have to return it.

I read the reviews before making my purchase. I bought 2 jackets. 1 for my son who wears a men's small/medium and is tall and slender. I bought him an XL, there is still some wiggle room for him and its a little big in his shoulders. But the length in the sleeve is just slightly long, but not huge. It fits well. For my fiance who wears a 2XL in jackets and XL in shirts. Stocky build and thicker middle. I bought him a 4XL just in case. It was pretty big. I would have liked a 3XL instead. It was just big everywhere, but ended up working out okay and not being an issue. It still looked nice and worked for his costume.I gave this 4 stars because:1- the material is thin. In no way should you expect to wear this to actually keep warm.2- The buttons don't actually function. It would be nice to have the option.Overall, beautiful jackets and worked for what they needed to. They can be used for multiple things and having functioning pockets was nice.

Surprisingly the material is pretty good. Not too flimsy. It's polyester but it doesn't look cheap. Don't know how it'll hold up in the wash though. I'd wash it by hand in cold water and hang to dry. My hubby is a portly 5ft 7in, wears a coat size 42 short and weighs 178 lbs. H e usually wears a size large in shirts. Because of the other reviews, we went two sizes up and ordered 2X. It fit just right thru the shoulders. However, if it was to be buttoned up, it doesn't close. Mind you, it's a slim fit and designed to wear open so it was good. sleeves were a bit too long. so, for this reason I put fit "too small" because if he had chosen large, it would've been too small. So, I agree with the rest of the reviewers, order 2 sizes up.

Overall this thing is workable. It is made from extremely thin floppy material. My gf said it looks and feels like a bathrobe, if that gives you an idea. I am 5'11" 220 pounds of a slightly chunky but solid muscular build. After reading reviews I went with 2XL. It is JUST too small. Standing there it is fine, but it limits my movement too much. If it were a better cut or had ANY stretch to it, it would have been great. But with the slender cut and zero stretch, it won't work.BUT, the fabric looks cool and the two pockets ARE real. So....I am exchanging it for a 3XL and making it work. Because it is still the best vampire/pirate jacket I have found. It is better than the $130 "Dracula Clothing" version.

Very puzzling. It's advertised as if it's a military tunic, yet it's an Asian design and fabric. This is misleading, and caused regret and the services of a seamstress to minimize the damage and make it usable. Expensive and poor marketing, and I will not recommend this to anyone.
