Love It!
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not an audiophile, just an average geek who likes to listen to movies loud and in full surround sound.I bought this speaker to replace a black KLH speaker that I had been using in our pre-flat panel TV days. This speaker was easy to install, the grate was easy to get on and off (but is snug when in place), and the speaker sounds fantastic. The dialogue level is easy to distinguish properly, if that makes sense, and the sound level seems perfect to my ears. We use our set-up not just for movies but also for television (sports, especially) and it works quite well in those instances as well. The price was great, and I'm glad I didn't spend more for a different speaker. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

Good quality at an Outstanding price.
I've been buying this brand of speaker for my in-wall solutions since ~2005 - GREAT SPEAKERS at and Outstanding price.

Just don't: IWLCR53 I tried them so you don't have to.
Update: They are just blooming and sibilant fails and even though they measure at 7.6 Ohms, they are very difficult to drive for basic gear. What were they thinking? The wall makes them worse and I wasted some cash and a whole lot of time and materials. I ended up ordering better in walls from Crutchfield. I sprung for some Revel MTM LCR speakers and even though they are the smallest and cheapest MTM Revel makes, they kick the OSD's assets. Yes the Revel can be sibilant in spots but nothing compared to these OSD money traps.Original, hopeful, gullible review below:Well, I can force them to work. I can adjust them down so far that they are better under control. I believe most people who just want an easy solution and don't understand how to fix the sound problems will probably try to return them after cutting big holes in their walls. These have switches on them to cut levels and they need it with this crossover. That is both positive and negative. The tweeter is a poorly engineered whistle and must be switched down to the lowest position. They should have just used the crossover to do it, or better yet chosen a different cheap tweeter that didn't whistle.I also had to adjust the EQ to cut -6db on all mid bass from 400HZ to upper mids to 6K in my home theater. That's a big trough to cut from a speaker path. The wall does help mid bass a bit, but that tweeter hurts unless you tame it. The grills help but are no miracle cure.In other words if you want them, you will have to put in a lot of work, trial and error to get them to sound reasonable. Good is out of the question here. Adequate in a low expectation room will be all you can hope for here.I am adding more insulation and will add a wood surface mount plate to the cavities to deaden the wall. That means I will have to make them; measurements, math, wood, saw, glue, dowels, pins, nails and screws. So it's only an easy install if you use an inside wall as-is. But if your theater costs more than say $500, get something else. Just save and pay for the stuff.I was specifically looking for a cheap, adaptable solution, and hoping for some luck. Oh well.I ordered three for Left-Center-Right as they advertise them. I will wait for them to break in and then decide to keep them or say goodbye. They are cheap. At some point cost to benefit falls apart. This may be that fall.

Beware of listed dimensions
While researching speakers, I wanted a relatively simple install so I paid close attention to cutout dimensions. This one fit the bill. There was one reviewer who claimed it was wrong, and I didnt believe him. Well....I wish I did. Cause it is wrong. Its over 15" cutout dimension. Not the 13 and change it listes. Guess what that means....you're cutting out some stud. Which is what I had to do. But, I will say, it sounds amazing.

Good, moderate priced center channel speaker.
Easy to install and has a nice, balanced sound. Would have liked a tweeter mounted so it could be aimed but for the price it is a good deal.
