I've been doing my own gel manicures at home for the last few years just because I like to switch up my colors a lot and going to get them done all the time is expensive. I've used multiple "top brands" that you can find on Amazon but this brand has the BEST base and top coat and the actual color polish goes on smooth without streaks. This color palette is a nice neutral pretty pink and I can see myself going back to this set over and over between seasons/holidays. I chose this particular color combo as a pretty and simple Valentine's manicure.I am only ready to take the color off because of it being grown out but as you can see there's no chipping. I deep cleaned at home last weekend including scrubbing the bath tub and I take care of my toddler and baby so it's not like I try and go easy on my nails.I know people say you shouldn't use different brand base/top coats with polishes but I've used this brand base/top with all my other brand color polishes without issue and it's actually my favorite brand base and top coat as it seriously never chips and it goes on the smoothest.People may be surprised with how small the polish bottles are, but I would just say to remember that this polish is not the type to have to reapply or remove after a few days so it lasts a really long time. The price for the set of this polish is still less than one trip to the salon and worth rebuying if you run out. I will probably need to toss it for drying out before I run out.

I'm a nail tech with over 30 years of experience. These gel polishes apply smoothly with great coverage, stay on forever, and come in sooooo many beautiful colors! IMHO, they are much more affordable, but just as high quality, than some of the professional brands.

These 6 colors are gorgeous and the polish goes on smoothly. I'm a newbie to the gel world, so when I applied it, I didn't realize it was never going to dry because I don't own a UV light. I had no idea that one is needed for gel nail polish. Now I must purchase one. Lesson learned!

I received the Pink Confetti Gel Nail Polish set. I love the pinks and wear them most of the time. The polish went on okay but the first coat covered little. The second coat covered more. Both coats dried okay but it took longer - 240 seconds. The top coat was fine as well. I chose number 191 which was supposed to be a vibrant, darker pink. However, after two coats of color and a clear top coat, the end result was not the deep, shiny pink, but a dull, light pink with a matte finish. The final product does not look anything like the pictures. So, if you want a polish that goes on okay and dries fine but looks dull and lifeless, then this is the perfect product for you!

This is by far THE best gel nail polish you can get for a decent price. It works just as well as my gals that cost 15$ each...and you get 6 in here for that! This is the only brand of gel I will EVER buy again. I seriously want them all. It applies well and evenly, I use 3 coats to really get the color well saturated and it cures easily without issue. Beautiful colors as well. I will have them all some day!*** My *only* complaint is that the colors really aren’t as close to what the photos show. I was expecting a nude and it’s very bubble gum pink and another color. As you can see from my pic two colors (187, and 191) are very much more pink that the bottle top as I swatched next to the color numbers and the amazon pic show so that was disappointing. What’s on my hand in the other picture is 190 and 192 for the glitter.

Gel nail polish is an acquired skill but I've used them for years and love the results. Beetle is a great brand. It isn't clumpy, the colors are true. You need to buff the nails before use and dry them thoroughly before painting. I dry my nails with a cottom swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. It removes oils, debris and powder from buffing them. As others mention, thin coats are the key. I use the uv light for the full minute with each coat. The last coat I may use the light for 2-3 minutes just to get a hard shell. They lasted through a hot soaking bath and dishwashing. The nail edges can lift if you don't wrap the coats around the tips with swip across the edges if possible. Some of my nail edges were broken and too short to wrap the polish so they will lift soon, but after a week, the polish looks great!
