Best I’ve tried to write on damp plastic coated paper
Writing in heavy rain always seems to be difficult. Even the best permanent markers give up, uncoated paper dissolves, divers pemcils only seem to work on their own pads. In the dry this pencil can write on most surfaces including metal. In the wet it will write on plastic laminated paper. It sharpens better than other chinagraph pencils, which crumble and snap more easily than this one, So its best I’ve found.

Not usable. Pencil wont sharpen and keep point. Point just drops out.

I could not sharpen this pencil to a point. It broke on every attempt using a Faber Castell pencil sharpener.
