Covers nail holes!
Easy to use for covering nail holes in paneling. Golden oak putty blends into the paneling - not too dark, not too light!Keep in fridge to keep it from drying out and hardening.

Easy to use
Good quality for the money. Takes stain well for filler. Easy to use.

Give it a try but read my review first!
I like this product because it blends in and is not noticeable. I did not realize this is non-drying, which I don’t like. It is also not easy to apply by hand. Once your finger gets putty on it, trying to apply putty inside a crack will keep sticking to your finger and makes it difficult to stay put. I am not a “handy” person, so I am sure there is an easier way to apply this. It is easy enough to wash off my fingers, after use. This is also wasteful of the product with how I apply it. I give this 4 stars probably due to my own stupidity of not reading that it will nevvver dry and not using something to apply this. I am happy with it, otherwise. I recommend trying it as the price is cheap enough.

Drying out
Kinda bummed about this one. I needed the putty for some trim nails and joints. The putty was a great size. The color was good. However it was practically drying out. It was barely sticky and pieces kept falling off as I was trying to put it on the pine board wall. I had to use fingers to press most of it in and have the filler stay in place. I wouldn't buy again from here. Instead is just go down to the store so it can be checked before bringing it home.

Wood putty
Does the job. I have to add a little vegetable oil ever so often to keep it pliable

Came in dry as a bone. Worthless.
Paid a premium price for a product that is useless. Must have been on someone's shelf for a long time. It's so hard that it just crumbles. Worthless.

This stuff is perfect for covering up nails.
I made my own DIY slatwall for my office. The only thing I ended up not liking was that you could make out each nailhead. After a bit of research I found that you can cover up nailheads in woodwork with a nail punch and some wood putty.I ordered some of this to match the Minwax Special Walnut stain I used. Then took a trip down to my local hardware store and purchased a nail punch. This stuff couldn't be easier to use.Use the nail punch to "punch" the nail a little further into the wood, just enough so it's no longer flush with the surface of the wood. Put a dab of putty on your finger and wipe it across the nail you just punched. You'll be hard pressed to find the nails afterward. Wish I knew about this stuff a long time ago.

Does not harden. BY DESIGN….
If that is what you need it is right. This is for pin holes, nail holes and works very well without the need to REFINISH. The hardening kind is great. If you are sanding and finishing AFTER using it. This is not that.
