Thought it would be better
Home glass hobbyist here. Read reviews about this grinder and was excited to have the option of the lap grinder for projects. (Replacing an old grinder that did not have that option). However, the first timeI tried to use it it TORE up my glass! ( yes I used water) but it chipped it all up and threw glass shards everywhere ( I’m glad I was wearing safety glasses). The grinding disc only has spots of diamond coating and I’m suspecting that is part of the problem, but others don’t seem to have the same complaint. I would not recommend this product. Maybe it’s a situation where you get what you pay for. It’s the cheapest lap grinder I could find.
