FINALLY FREE from Tailbone pain
UPDATE 7/13/13:(Please note that I do NOT have any relationship to the manufacturer or seller; I am just a customer of the product.)I just returned from a 7,200 mile road trip (having traveled thru 16 states) in 6 weeks. This tusch cush (as I have dubbed it) has truely become my best travel buddy. One of our stops was Chaco Culture N.P. in New Mexico; the road was horrendous! It took us 2&1/2 hrs to drive the 19 miles of terrible bumpy washboard road to get there; when we left the park, the southern road was blocked by someone who got stuck tryng to drive an RV over the horrible road conditions, so we had to take the northern route back. This consisted of even worse road conditions and took us even longer to get back. There's no doubt after that trip I would have had to cut my trip short if it had not been for my tush cush. While I "did" suffer some coccyx pain after that excursion, it was nothing like I would have experienced without this cushion.I am not saying that this cushion is an "instant cure" for coccyxgeal or hemrroidal pain, but it undoubtably has allowed me to sit, drive, ride, and travel for long periods of time without aggrivating my coccyx area.Whoever made this product.."THANK YOU".P.S. I found another one of these cushions at a truck stop. They were asking almost $40 for it so you might want to check prices if you plan to buy.===================I have suffered with tailbone pain for years, having injections in my Coccyxgeal area for over 2 years. I was pain free for 18 months, then the pain returned with a vengence. I've tried pillows, donuts, waffle cushions, gel cushions, but never got any releif from being able to just sit-down without tailbone pain. This cushion has been a Godsend for me. It is NOT TOO SOFT....it is NOT TOO HARD....it is soft enough to be comfortable yet firm enough to support my derierre. The sides are wide enough to offer stabilization and keep the seat from rocking or teetering; even while driving/riding in an automobile. The deep back cutout in the coccxy area totally takes the pressure off of the tailbone. And the center hole cutout keeps pressure off of the hemrroidal area, while at the same time allowing air to flow under the seat and prevent heat buildup and sweating. The grey seat cover is easy to wash, dries very quickly, and very easy to put on or take off. The cover is a lightweight, breathable fabric to also allow air flow and help prevent sweating on long drives. All in All, I give this cushion FIVE STARS because it is the ONLY one I've found that comes even remotely close to being exactly what I need.

Helps quite a bit
I've purchased two of these and keep one in my car and one in the office chair. I weigh about 150 lbs and have not seen any evidence of either cushion getting flat (I've used one of them for about a month, the second one I just purchased). These make a huge difference in my comfort.Firstly, they are wedge shaped which enables my back to be more upright in car seats in particular, alleviating back pain. Secondly, the coccyx hole has helped me tremendously as that is where most of my pain would occur. My job requires me to usually spend 4 to 6 hours a day on the road and a few more hours each evening in the office working on paperwork. My main complaint would be that it is a bit firm and still causes some soreness to my rear end after a few hours. But it is so much better than not having it!It does have a carrying handle, which I imagine could help if you plan to frequently carry it from your car to your home/office or if you just like to look fashionable while carrying a coccyx cushion around downtown.***Update***I've been using my two cushions almost daily for a year and four months now and they are holding up very well!

Saved my life! Or at least my tailbone!
I'm currently pregnant, and my greatest source of discomfort has been pressure on my tailbone. Sitting at a desk all day has not been fun, and trying to get up from that desk has been even less fun. I finally got desperate and ordered one of these.(I also must mention I'm a cheapskate so actually almost chose to stick it out) For $30, this is well worth the price. The removable cover is great so I can clean it, the handle makes it easy for me to carry it everywhere, and the doughnut shape is great for removing pressure in all the right places.I tried other similar cushions and found that if they're too soft, the pain returns with a vengeance, so it's only delaying the pain. This pliable but firm cushion is perfect for maintaining shape while greatly improving comfort-a similar effect to the way a tempurpedic mattress is.I just got back from taking this on a trip, where I carried it on the place(world of difference), in the rental car(ya never know what you're gonna get), and in restaurants(never paid much attention to cushions in restaurants until I had to deal with stabbing pain in the caboose). What an amazing difference. Truly. It's not worth the pain. Take it wherever you go and never worry again about suffering for the rest of the day because of an uncomfortable seat. I'm ordering a second one now for a co-worker with lower back pain. She tried this for 5 minutes and said she had to have one!

OUCH
Was really looking forward to receiving this pillow based on so many glowing reviews. Sadly, it doesn't work for me, at all.1. The foam is way too hard, and even though there's a slant, the pillow really hurts my thighs.2. The hole in the center confuses me. I'm not sure how to sit on the thing and cannot find a comfortable position.3. The hole in the center also creates painful pressure on my thighs and tush.In case this helps anyone gauge whether this pillow will work for them: I'm 5'4", 120lbs. My body is "sensitive", I notice pressure easily. I'm looking for something that will give me support, yet be soft. This is definitely not soft. I'm sending it back. The search continues.
