Goldwood Sound GW-8PC-8 Heavy Duty 8ohm 8" Woofer 330 Watts Replacement Speaker, Black

I used this to replace a blown speaker in an old Mirage subwoofer. It sounds better than the original. Nice, tight, controlled bass. Quality is much higher that the original, too.

While cleaning out my attic. I found a old set of mid 90's 3-way optimus speakers. The drivers were shot and they didn't have any crossover at all. So I gutted them cleaned up the cabinets reinsulated added 3-way crossovers replaced the tweeters ,midrange and got these 8 inch woofers. Everything fit perfect . The hardest part was replacing the grill fabric. It cost me about $200 for everything and now I have my Frankenstein speakers that sound just as good as my klipsch tower speakers at a quarter of the price. Great tight bass from a sealed speaker box coupled with a 10 inch subwoofer and I have all the bass I'll need.

Purchased an 8 inch woofer powered protechnica 4 way speaker set from Heartland America that appeared to have exceptional piezo drivers for mid range and high frequency mastering. Turned out I was 100% right on. The only thing left to due was to change to a super high quality woofer. These Goldwoods are top notch performers, moderately priced, and fit the speaker boxes perfectly. The performance is nothing less than amazing. The conversion is simple. Suggest temporarely placing paper towel or toilet paper under the soldered speaker lugs (to avoid dripping hot solder on speaker cone and damaging during soldering-remove protective paper after soldering) and soldering speaker wires directly to the Goldwood Woofer soldered terminals. The conversion is easy and more than worthwhile. Update: Have spent numerous hours cruising the internet trying to find an 8 inch 8 ohm woofer capable of below 30 Hz for bass and work well up to 3K Hz regardless of price. Doubting there is a better 8 inch (can not exceed 8.25 inches edge to edge) 8 ohm woofer to be had with these specifications. If there is, would someone please let me know via a comment. Thank you.

This replaced an old Pioneer woofer in a sealed enclosure. It does not go as deep as the Pioneer that I bought in 2012 for around 35 green ones, but it does play loud and without much distortion. Overall, an ok purchase

The media could not be loaded. I high recommend should choice goldwood speaker. Sound the best clear and strong rich bass deep. I replaced woofer for karaoke portable , I satisfied them.

This thing is beefy-heavy well made…thank you. it is replacing a Guinness home entertainment system 8” and power rating is way higher than the factory speaker witch is good. not heard it hooked up yet. Will BRB with how it does once hooked up…. 4 hrs of country break in It handles bass power Thumps the floorperforms well sounds good - equals out surround now would highly recommend

Speaker cone was not glued together

I Purchased The Rockville Rock Party 8 Bluetooth System recently & Like everyone else the Bass Lacks Bigtime, So in the Process, I did change the Speakers with my Yamahas while I'm waiting for the Goldwood 8`s to arrive possibly by tomorrow.
