Quality kits, days of captivating fun.
So fun. I make all the "littles" first then put the structure together. It's like a cool 3D puzzle. I decorate how I like and use the instructions as a guideline. Captivating for hours. 1st pic is of my set up. Just cilillin on the couch listening to my stories.

Sick of puzzles? Time on your hands? You should get these miniature room kits.
In an effort to reduce the free time we were spending on screens, I purchased several miniature room build kits to do with my 16-year-old daughter in our free time. For the first phase of pandemic, puzzles were a great way to kill time without technology, and we needed something similar but felt puzzled out. Let me tell you... this was great fun! A little challenging at times - some of the pieces (especially leaves and flowers in the garden room kit) are incedibly tiny and intricate, and once you have glue hands it was very difficult to keep working on them. We started with garden room, then did a little apartment-type one from another brand, and then the bookstore/study. I would sit and cut and glue while listening to an audiobook or podcast and before I knew it, hours would have passed. I mean, I'd look down and see that I'd only built a handful of tiny items in that time, which was laughable, but it was so soothing and a great way to break from electronics and the hustle and bustle.Tips from me, basically a pro (as long as you don't zoom in on the pics, I'm totally pro-level): Pick up some krazy glue/super glue/gorilla glue and some glue sticks - the glue supplied is ok but sometimes the quick set of a thin layer of superglue is best. Also have an exacto-knife and cutting mat on hand if you have one - not necessary, but helpful. Take a look through the instructions before you start and assess what order to do things in. I also used a piece of cardboard to create sections in a shoebox so as I completed things, they could safely go into a section to dry or until we were ready to put them where they belong. If you are balking at the price tag, let me assure you they are well worth it. Even if we end up tossing the completed projects out down the line because space is limited here, we spent SO MANY HOURS on these it was absurd, and it was satisfying along the way as we pulled sections together. I really feel like miniature kits like this are great and have been telling everyone I know about them! Just get one, you'll love it!

Easy...too easy?
Decent kit, but in line with Rolife's new way of creating kits, it's very very easy. The old Rolife kits took a few days and were more challenging. This was easily done in an afternoon, so you don't get the same bang for your buck. I've done every Rolife house kit available (not the book nooks, not a fan of those, but dozens of house kits), and they're getting easier and easier. That's great for folks new to kits, but it wound be great to have some challenging ones mixed in there. I've started doing the new Rolife kits after doing a large 360 house from other companies to have a break with an easy one in-between one that's actually challenging. Some pros in this kit:- Good quality and instructions, as always with Rolife kits.- Anyone who has done greenhouses knows it's hard to keep the walls clean, the gluing leaves a mess. The construction of this greenhouse is well done allowing for no glue mess. It still takes some adjusting, but all in all it's superior to other ones, including the old black one from Rolife.- Rolife is mastering the ease of moving items (doors, windows etc). Both move seamlessly in this kit.- Lots of extra supplies once completed to use in future kits, especially the plants.- Some things Rolife made easier is awesome. Who really likes making pillows out of fabric and silk? Nooo one. When I saw the pillow was a click together, I was actually happy with the easy side of it. Same goes for the wiring.Cons:- Just too easy. Everything clicks together so it's a little boring. That's great for something like a pillow, but all the cabinets, flowers, furniture, etc is a but much.- This kit has the new glue, and while the glue isn't bad, Rolife's original glue is by far the best glue I've ever used, so the change is a bummer. One previous benefit of spending more on a Rolife kit even though they're only one room is being able to stock up on their glue. It also doesn't work on fabric at all, I had to use my old stock of their glue for the throw blanket.- The plants are boring to make. Sometimes this is a pro because the old greenhouses took foorrreverr making all the paper plants, but it made the kit worth it time-wise.

Awsome Kit!!!
The Tipsy Restaurant is my 6th kit and by far the BEST kit. The parts are sturdy and there is no unnecessary assembly of teeny tiny parts. Just an absolute joy to put together.

Great kit - fun and challenging
This kit is great! It is definitely challenging, but not so much that you won't/can't finish. Some of the complaints I read seem off base for the price range and project. For example, the warped pieces - I had 2 pieces that didn't lay flush but just used a small clamp to hold them in place with a bit of extra glue and it layed flat and straight just fine. Or the fact that many of the pieces are "just paper" - yes most of the books are folded paper but many are photo realistic and look really good. There are many balsa wood books and the furniture is all wood/cloth. I think at the scale of 1/24 having all wood would be too heavy and not fit.The kit is step by step and has great instructions and actual size diagrams but is felxible enough that you can customize as much as you want (i printed a different pattern for the floor and arranged wall art differently. I also strategically placed some books to cover up mistakes!)Overall, it's so fun, looks impressive and I will be doing another!
