Bandai Hobby - Gundam Wing - #228 Gundam Sandrock, Bandai Spirits HGAC 1/144 Model Kit

Love this model. Had a lot of fun putting it together. Are you need is a pair of clippers and maybe a file. Love putting it together and it looks great just like it does in the anime.

Builds solid and doesn't have that many stickers. I only used the chest sensor's sticker (eye stickers seem to be a 50/50 on whether they will act right these days on HGs) Gundam markers for the sticker spots I didn't want to use. It has great color separation.You can pull off Sandrock's action poses well. The heat shotels have a hot and cold form like the MG. The crush claw gimmick is kinda strange: it takes the backpack off with the stored shotels to do it. The MG just puts the shotels on the claw shield as Katoki didn't make any notable changes when compared to the TV version. Grab this kit if you want to finish up the 5 main Gundam set of Gundam Wing via regular release with an RG for the Wing Gundam(available also in HG).

it was a great build, not being too difficult while also having complicated parts. it looked great and I really like the ability to have the sickles either on or off. it also has a very good possibility without many issues in things not moving or anything like that.the only thing bad about it is the leg articulation and the excessive amount of waist articulation. the leg articulation is great it goes really far with double knee joints, but the joints in the knees lower part, and the hip joints aren't very stable. the figure won't fall over from the looseness; it will stay under its own weight but it's noticeably easy to move the joints.

I am so glad that Bandai is making the TV versions of the main mobile suits from Gundam Wing. The first one is this Sandrock which isn't my favorite, but it's a great kit. It's a huge step up from the NG 1/144 kits of the mid 90's. This Sandrock is very detailed, but being an HG, could use some TLC in the form of paint. I would highly recommend picking this up as a gift or for collecting purposes. It'll be sure to please anybody.

The sandrock isn't my favorite Gundam but I loved the series so I had to get it. This kit is amazing really good articulation for a hg. I painted it purple because I like the ew color more but I like the tv version model more then the ew kit. I would definitely recommend getting this kit especially if your a Gundam wing fan like myself.

Very nice sandrock model kit from gundam wing! It's fairly detailed and the articulation is not bad at all! Definitely recommend this kit if you're a fan of this unit or if you just want a nice gundam model kit in general.

This is my 3rd gunpla and it was a fun build with lots of opportunities to do line work and custom paint.It comes with 3 sets of hand and 2 different sets of sword blades normal and red clear !The only thing I would change would be to make the legs a little sturdier just to make them feel a more solid. But it is a good solid gunpla with tight joints.Over all I give it a full 5 stars for how nice this gundam is and how they do the rest of gundam wing with this same quality!
