The stainless steel Delica 4 is my EDC knife of choice. came shaving sharp right out of the box as expected from a Spyderco . Knife feels very solid when locked open. Absolutely no blade play at all . stainless steel version feels great in the hand and gives you a little bit more weight compared to the origin handle. The only Con about this knife is that the stainless steel handle model scratches easily as expected from stainless steel not a problem for me can be buffed out with a polish cloth. Other than that the knife is beautiful and is extremely high-quality has a classic timeless look with a razor sharp blade ready to last few years of every day use. Sick spyderco!

Some compain about the weight? I don't see it that way. This is a pretty slim small knife..the weight is maybe more than a cheap plastic handle knife but it's hardly noticeable in the pocket..and the solid stainless gives it a feel of a precision instrument which it is. Super sharp out of the box. May have to get another in case I misplace it...don't let anyone borrow it you may not see it again.

I’ve been a Spyderco fan for a very long time. Started with a Paramilitary II and a whole lot more over the years. I’ve always liked the size and blade choices with the Delica 4 but it just never felt “right” ( I’ve gifted several as a result, don’t tell anyone) When I saw this stainless version I was hoping the added weight would be the middle ground feel-wise I was hoping for. It’s perfect ! It just feels more substantial in my hand, plus the added weight isn’t an issue at all carry wise. Another huge plus was the blade is plenty big for apples, boxes, or whatever else I need in an EDC. And….it’s within the confusing Virginia knife law carry blade length limit.Great knife and I love the Spydie-hole and lock systems they use.

I sold these knifes in my store about 30+ years ago....since then I have sold my store,and have been carrying this knife every since.......You can not hurt or break this knife.....It is the best knife on the market ...PERIOD!!!..The only reason I had to buy another one just like my old one is that when I went to theWhite House in D.C. to visit.....I could not go into the white house natrurally with it......so I tried to hide it under a tree out side the white house....but when I came out to retrieve it back.......secret service I guess saw me put it there and took it........That knife had been with me for over 30+years!....DAMIT !!! I hated that.......Oh well !!.......Somebody got a GREAT KNIFE.....this knife no joke is the best EVER....solid as a rock....Can not be broke!!....I Sold these knife for years......NEVER, EVER had anyone bring one back !!!.....An I sold a LOT of them......

Purchased for my 18 year old Army soldier son and he really likes it. He wanted a stainless steel knife.

I love this knife. I have owned over a dozen name brand pocket knives over the years, but this one is so solid and smooth that it's far better and well worth the price. This will probably be the last pocket knife I buy. If I lose it, I'm buying another one and when I die it's going to my son. I love this knife. I can't say enough good things about it.

The opening mechanism is a bit stiff and kind of gritty, I am hoping it will break in after some use. Also the stainless steel handle seems to scratch fairly easily. But the blade is sharp!

I love this knife. It's the perfect size for everyday carry. It's sleek and smooth, so it slides in and out of pocket nicely. The clip is strong and prevents it from coming out of pocket unintentionally. The lock is solid and strong. No "play" or slop in the lock whatsoever. It's a Spyderco...superb quality! You could have the handles engraved and hand this down to your kid some day. It's that well made.
