Incredible Value! 6 Seasons & Still Going Stong!
This is a great product at a great price. I’ve bought three of these but never had any type of failure. The original was in 2018 which has lasted perfectly under heavy use through 2024. It is extremely light weight with both the inner and outer pole sections being real carbon fiber.One thing I love about this pole is it allows you to snap lock at three different heights, not just 2 meters like many GPS rods. I prefer to use the 1.8 meter height as that is what Leica poles use and it is less likely to be blown over by the wind and the receiver is still above your head which prevents potential multi-path. My original rod from 2018 is still functioning without issue but when I ordered one of these for an employee and found it was identical to my beloved 2018 model I went ahead and ordered myself a second for future use.I should also note that in 2024 I bought a $600 carbon fiber 2m rod and bipod set from a well known brand. Comparing this rod against the much higher priced equivalent I found that this rod is by far the best value for the money.

Love this carbon fiber pole. Strong and lightweight, the tape at the bottom section is awesome for markings of cut/fill on laths or stakes. Comes with a carry bag.

check your rod length. It may not be 2.000 meter.
The rod looks good. but my length measurement is 2003 mm instead 2.000 meters. I was expecting 1 mm or smaller error. I have not checked the level bubble accuracy. I will need to ground off 3 mm from the metal tip. Depending on the accuracy requirement, you will need to make changes accordingly. You get what you pay for. Still a good deal if you are not spending someone else's money.
