Works great
I won't lie, I thought this didn't work & ordered a replacement, but the 2nd one didn't work either, so I figured it was user error & googled. Turns out one needs to press the tip against flesh while pressing the buttin to give a jolt. I learned this from google & confirmed it by pressing the button, letting go of the button, & putting the tip on my hand, giving me a small jolt.

Works as advertised
Wanted to carry it when I walk my dog because there are loose vicious dogs in my area. This thing sent them yelping and running. I love it :)

Do not buy
The thing is shorting inside I bought in 2019... Didn't even get to use a second set of batteries. Almost burnt my hand cause if the malfunction. No product returns

Very little info on product
Item disnt come with any information about wattage or anything like an owners manual. It doesn’t meet any of the minimum standards for safety communication. The price is too much for what it is. I will be returning as I dont feel I can safely operate with an owners manual. All it had was a simple how to put batteries in it card. Shameful
