A Beautiful Sounding Guitar
[Note: The pickguard in the picture isn't stock. I was just experimenting.]The price was high for my budget, but I kept it due to its spectacular tone. I think a good comparison is the guitar on the original The Song Remains the Same soundtrack album. (I know that's a Les Paul, but there's a similarity.) I have a Danelectro, and I would say, tonally, they're cousins. It sounds beautiful through a Marshall. Each string cuts through and is distinct.Other things I've noticed:* All three pickup positions sound great (wish they were available separately).* The bridge pickup's pole pieces aren't all the same height (I assume, a good thing).* Unlike some Telecasters, the middle pickup position is*not* hum-cancelling. (But my Sentry noise gate makes that a non-issue.)* The body cavity is not shielded.* The guitar resonates beautifully and loudly un-amplified, which I think speaks to its quality.* I received my guitar about a month after the first shipment, and contrary to some customer reports, mine was set up perfectly.* The body finish is gloss, not satin, and it seems like urethane rather than nitrocellulose.* The body on my guitar has a couple of knotty swirls in it, and mine is made of three very well matched pieces of wood (see photo).* To my eyes, the wood has a unique, light chocolate tint to it that doesn't seem to come out in pictures. (Perhaps that's just what ash looks like.)* Oddly, the finish on the back of the neck feels sticky/tacky to the touch, though it's not something I have noticed while playing.* The neck feels thick compared to what I'm used to, but it's comfortable.* The 7.5" neck radius is comfortable.* The frets are narrow, and tall enough to function well.* The guitar feels solidly built. It's relatively heavy.* The case it comes with is black.* The dramatic bend for the G-string harmonic at the opening to "Dazed and Confused" is a breeze with this head stock. =o)

Not worth the money at all!
Found one selling for 1000$ and still not worth the money. Didn't like the sound, the pickgaurd was horrible and the fret work was what you expected from a 100$ guitar. Took it back and exchanged it for a Gretsch semi-hollow body and what a night and day difference.
