Works great!
I had a hand sprain between my pinky and wrist and the only splint I could find were for wrists or fingers. This seemed to be the only splint out there that would stabilize my hand and after a week my sprain (that I had for 3 months as I tried to find a splint under $100) began healing nicely.

Right handed splint for "boxers injury" x pinky and ring finger affected
I like the idea, while wearing it there is a tendency for people to give you a bit more room on the street, bus or sidewalk as they realize that you don't have complete control over your own safety such as being able to grasp a handle or over-head bar or safety rail. There is a piece of elastic inside to keep your two fingers (pinky and ring fingers) together but I found that this was needless because it cinched the two fingers together so tight, and I have small hands and ordered a small appliance, that if you slept with it overnight that it would be difficult to move your fingers, they would be really stiff in the morning and you would have to massage them upon waking. I passed on putting my two outside fingers (R hand) inside the 'sleeve' - it's like a tunnel for your two fingers. I found that the appliance was a bit longer than necessary, I don't think that most people have hands/fingers this long if they are ordering a 'small' splint. I will say that I had to search six different stores in town and came up empty handed - no pun intended. I went to chain drug stores, specialty health providers, small private drug stores, and even a hand therapists office (the woman was very snotty with me and even if I had been directed to attend their medical facility I probably would have said the woman on the front desk has no tact or empathy for dealing with injured workers. I went to one place who came up with how to make a splint, the type of thing that we do in first aid training before you send an injured worker off to the hospital. Even if I'd had the equipment that you need to make this product I only have one working hand, because the R hand was injured while falling into a 3' wide x 10' deep trench. Hobbycraft is not my middle name - but it was a valiant try from a complete stranger which was better than some of the other reactions I'd got from people. One woman told me that my doctor had spelled the name of the appliance improperly - REALLY, I don't care, you knew what my doctor was prescribing and what I needed and that's all that mattered at day #2 post injury with 6 stitches and 15 staples in my scalp!!!!!! I had to ask our 'workers compensation' specialists if I could order this item from Amazon as after trying 6 places I was having no luck. They said that if Amazon was the only place I could find what I needed to order from them and submit my receipts directly to their equipment payment services - which is different than where we submit prescrption receipts. Without Amazon carrying many items that performed the same task I don't know what I would have done. And even though I did order on Amazon Prime I was still charged $22. for shipping (yes, product was over the required thirty five dollars) and I didn't receive it the next day as described as part of Amazon Prime, it took two days - for someone with a medical need and after all I'd been through to try and get this equipment, besides the rest of the injuries I'd sustained - to say nothing of the trip in the ambulance, with husband following in our truck behind us and four hours in emergency for CatScan, X-rays, blood tests, 6 stitches, 15 staples and a concussion, physiotherapy, which a month and a half post injury (August 21st 2019) I am still experiencing sensitivity to noise, lights, crowds, anxiety and sleeping problems........

Size small is not very small.
Good support for "Boxer Break"; but size mall is pretty big. Had to use it anyway....

Awesone brace..,
I love the brace. My doctor even asked me where I got this brace. It fits great, its comfortable. Only issue, is the strap over the 4th and 5th matacarpol. It could made of more durable stealing. It seems to stretch and fray bad, but does not effect, the brace. Its just a little aggregating to see the frayed strap. But love the brace

Didn't fit well
Despite multiple attempts to adjust this split, it just didn't work for me. The fit was off, and felt too lose on my wrist but too tight on my hand below my pinky - pinched so much, in fact, that the pain woke me up in the middle of the night the first day I wore it. Returned.

Worth It
This worked well. I sprained my two fingers and keeping them isolated helped them heal. Worth the money

My hand is no longer broken in 12 places.
Okay so I tripped over the water hose in my driveway and I'm pretty sure I slow motion fell to my death and braced all 160lbs of myself with my pinky finger. My pinky finger isnt as strong as I had hoped. All of the drinking with my pinky up did not give it the strength I had hoped for and imagined. ALTHOUGH - I purchased this brace and my hand is pretty much back to normal. Kinda. Get it.
