Keep Calm and Carry On Union Jack Tin, English Breakfast Tea (40 Bags, 125g, 4.4 oz)

I bought this mainly for the tin and, since I drink ONLY Japanese green tea (2 to 3 pots per day) I thought I would have to give away the black tea. But, being a tea snob, I am always on the lookout for the 'perfect' tea, so I tried this, all the while thinking how I was going to detest it, as I have the many, many black teas I have tried. WOW! I can't get enough of this tea. It is aromatic, full-bodied, not at all acrid, and surprisingly sweet! I used different coffee creamers in it and it is just as good, if not better, than coffee.

What can I say ...as a Brit I have to have my tea and what better than this! I bought it more as a container than the tea though the tea was a proper cuppa not the watered down variety. The tin is sturdy so I can keep my Tetleys in there. Love it.

... I TOTALLY purchased this just for the tin! The colors are quite lovely, bright, and brilliant. The quality is also very solid. The graphics are wonderful & I can't wait to show it off at the office.I'm giving this only 4-stars because it came with not one but TWO stickers which was rather difficult to completely remove. I wish they would have used a weaker adhesive for their labels. Although one sticker was on the bottom on the tin, the second sticker covered almost a 1/4 of the back of the tin! So this only gets a 4-stars for all the gunk left behind by the stickers.

I tried this tea at my sister's and was amazed at how delicious it was without sugar, milk or anything else. No bitterness, a smooth pick me up. The tea sold in groceries is composed of tea dust, and it tastes like it.I'm ordering this online from here on.

I bought this for the tin, not the contents and whilst the tea is good, the tin is cute and I will store my loose leaf tea in it, with the tin proudly displayed on my kitchen worktop.
