UNIS LOCKOZ Simple and Safe Clip-on Shoelace Knot Accessory

I loved the new laces I put in my black chucks (outer space print), but they would not stay tied. It was driving me nuts. They came opened so often I almost put my boring white laces back. These are such a simple solution, but so far, they work great and my laces are still tied. I got black, which blends in with shoes and laces. It's not even noticable. I was concerned they would be too small - that being largely for kids they wouldn't work for adults. They do! My laces are flat and not extremely wide (see pic), as picture shows. I think round laces would be too thick, and wider laces might be too bulky as well. But regular flat laces work just fine.Good purchase. If they don't last, I'll update with that info, but they seem solid. I wish they made some out of metal for durability, but these are fairly inexpensive and you get 3 pairs, so no biggie if they wear out.If your laces keep coming untied, get these.These are great!

These are great. They do what they are designed to do. One lost at school because I think someone did not know how to use them. I like that they come in multiple colors. They are smaller than I expected but they work. I like the size because they don't look bulky. They look cute and my grandson likes them too. I am buying more colors. I recommend this product.

My daughter is of the age where she's still perfecting the art of tying shoes. Unlucky for us the new sneakers we got her have those stupid laces that are really stiff and thick.When you knot them, even double knotting them, they don't stay knotted, bc the material doesn't have any stretch or roughness to them. So after seeing her get off the school is with untied laces the 3rd time in a row I decided to Google whether there were shoelace clips and accessories like this to help, before I Macguyver something myself.These things are great. They came with like 5-6 pairs of clips. While sometimes it's tricky to position the knot in order to clip these on (bc with thick laces like these you only clip the knot itself bc they won't close if there's too much lace in the center of the clip) but after a few tries we have gotten the hang of these.They've popped off a couple times, and we've only lost 1 so far but luckily there's a bunch of replacements. I recommend getting then in the same color as the sneaker vs the laces, or at least in a complimentary color of you don't want them to be that noticeable.

When the product arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see several sets of lace clips in the bag. I thought from the description that I was just going to receive two clips. This is nice incase we lose one or one gets broken.They feel a little flimsy but we have tried them out and they clip easily over the tie on my child’s shoes. They are also easy to undo when it is time to take the shoes off. They are so easy to use that my child can actually clip them on and off by herself!We got them on a Friday and as of yet haven’t been able to test them out at school but I am hopeful that they will keep her laces tied and we won’t have another lecture about double knotting the laces (which I always did anyway but they still came untied) and having to have a teacher retie them during recess.I will update this review if anything changes after giving them the Kindergarten Recess test but as for now it’s so far so good.

Good concept, but they don’t work on round laces.

I bought these for my daughter to use on her tennis shoes. She is only 6 and can't tie her shoes yet, so I am the one who has to put them on for her. I noticed that these plastic pieces were hard to snap on, even with her shoe strings being of a flat shape. Once snapped on it was very difficult to unsnap them, which I was hoping to be a good thing in that maybe they wouldn't fall off and get lost easily. Unfortunately that still was not the case b/c she lost one within the 1st few days of wearing them. I'm also worried that over time the plastic will lose it's form and will break along the seam or where the snap is. Can someone please contact me on resolving this issue since the return window has closed?

These accessories are flimsy and break with minimal use. I had one snap in half just trying to attach it to my shoelace. It's more of a safety hazard than a safety solution. ☔🤦‍♂️In conclusion, the "Simple and Safe Clip-on Shoelace Knot Accessory" is neither simple nor safe. It's a poorly designed and fragile piece of equipment that doesn't live up to its promises. If you're looking for a hassle-free way to secure your shoelaces or expect something durable, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. These accessories are more likely to leave you with a headache and broken shoelaces than a convenient solution. 🙅‍♂️👟🚮
