Great for learning, a little soft
So I started doing my nails myself during covid. Started with press on nail kits and full cover glue on nails. Recently I bought polygel because I thought it looked cool and could give me a much longer lasting manicure. That’s was about a month and a half ago. I’ve done 4 sets if nails since I started using polygel and I get better every time. It takes some practice and sometimes the first coupld nails don’t turn out perfect. I’m completely self taught and watch tutorials but mostly just learned by doing. This stuff was a great size for how much it costs. About twice as much or more than most kits give. Fairly easy to work with, but can get pretty soft if you aren’t careful.I liked this color a lot, natural pink, and I’ve gravitated more and more towards soft pinks lately with polygel than in the past. It’s a cute and neutral color that looks elegant without being too in my face. I like it because the pink is subtle enough but still very pretty.Keep in mind these pictures are both a single layer cured and then several layers of top coat plus the rhinestones. If you built up the layers the color may be more opaque, and mine tend to be fairly thin, just how I like my nail to be, but it could potentially be a stronger color.Overall I’d recommend to anyone looking to start doing their own nails. It’s cheap, can be fairly easy, but takes some practice. I use dual forms or poppits and have yet to try paper forms and sculpting. Just make sure you have the right base and top coats to cure with. I use 75%+ Isopropyl alcohol in lieu of slip solution, since it’s cheap and easy to buy at a drug store. Works great. Lots of patience with polygel, so not for those who aren’t willing to put in the work to learn how to use it.

Really pretty color! Easy to use!
I went from using all gel polish to do my nails to trying out poly gel and I really like using them together! When I do a fill, I file off any lifted product and my color, but not down to the nail bed. Then I use a little base coat, cure, then put on a little bead of poly gel. I find it a lot more easy to work with than just using builder gel, because it's more viscous and doesn't run into my cuticles. It's still tough for me to get the poly gel perfectly smooth, so I do my best with a brush and slip solution, cure, file if there's any weird ridges or mistakes, then do a medium thick layer of builder gel on top to perfectly level it out. This is the result! I'm able to get it nice and thin and less blobby than when I have tried to work with builder gel alone. This color is really pretty on its own, barely pinky with a little glitter, but it also makes a great base to let bright colored gel polishes on top, shine. The tube is quite large too so I imagine I'll be using it for a long time!

Best of 3 polygels I've used
This was my first time using polygel. I tried 2 other brands at the same time, and this one was my favorite. Beetles is consistently a good brand and I've really enjoyed all of their nail products I've bought.I am not a professional, but have been a serious hobbyist for about 10 years. I've tried most of the common manicure techniques, including liquid gel, acrylic, dip, single forms, and press-ons (full and tips). I wanted to try polygel with dual forms because it looked easy and fun.It was relatively easy, but not as much fun as I'd hoped lol. But this product made it so much easier. It's very thick and solid so I could take my time to shape it (brush in alcohol) without it running or slipping. I was not happy with the dual forms (Modelones, too straight with no apex) so I didn't achieve exactly the look I wanted, but overall I'm happy with my first set ever.I painted over the clear polygel with black gel polish, a holographic silver glitter polish, and a top coat. It's only been a day so I can't speak to longevity, but they feel sturdy. I did lose one in less than 24 hours, but I blame the forms, not the polygel. Because they are so straight, I needed to use far more product around my nail's natural apex to eliminate the gap. I didn't know this at the time and so there was a gap which I filled with top coat. Since this isn't how the polygel is intended to be used, I don't blame it for the break (actually it was more of a bend and peel off). I blame the forms.

Good product but I am allergic to it
This product setup really nice and was easy to work with despite my learning curve with having never used it before but unfortunately I think I either improperly applied it or I am actually allergic so I will be returning it because it did not work for me. I want someone else to make an informed purchase decision that after 4 days all 10 of my fingertips were extremely tender and swollen with blisters and I had to drain several of them with a small needle underneath the front edge of my nails because they were so uncomfortable. Please do more research than I did before purchasing a product like this in case you also have an allergic reaction, this is not a bad review because of the product quality the product sets up hard I can tell it would last a long time the colors are very pretty they look natural depending on how you apply them and they would have lasted I just couldn't Outlast them because of the discomfort.
