Phenomenal radio
the Package not handled with care other than that every thing meet my standards it even came with a wiring harness I was gone do the 3 stars but I can't penalize amazon 4 that. I don't know if you can pay for better shipping but if you can I would

Inspect the product you receive first before installing.
This is one of the best car receivers I've ever bought. I love Alpine. The installation went well, sounds GREAT! even with out EQ. But it has one in the receiver you can use.Blu-tooth works, I was able to add phone contacts and make a call. You may have to adjust the MIC, a little sensitive. The USB works, with Audio and if you install a bypass for Video, it works as well.

This was a very long job took two whole day to install this radio and backup camera

I purchased this twice and both were defective.
I've used/installed many quality Alpine head units and other products over the years. But the first one of these units would occasionally Lock-Up and not turn off or do anything until I turned off the ignition. I returned that one and purchased a second one and it is now doing the same thing. Hopefully Alpine will stand behind it's Warranty now that it's too late to return it to Amazon. I'm very disappointed in this Alpine product.

Bypass
Don’t like the fact that there wasn’t a parking brake bypass. I had to spend more money for it. Heads up would’ve been nice.

Sound quality and form factor are great but display is washed out.
The price is really good for what you get. The sound quality is good and I like this form factor better than any other head unit that supports android auto.What I don't like is that the screen is simply not crisp. Everything seems washed out and not nearly as vibrant as even an old cell phone. Seems that there is no fix for this issue other than upgrading to the ilx-507 which is HD. Would be fine for me but I really like the minimalism of the ilx-w650. Just wish the screen was at least as vibrant as my s8.Also, the ilx-507 has blue keys on it that are not changeable which would clash with the green gauges of my truck.Overall, I do recommend as long as you don't mind a washed out screen. My fingers are crossed that alpine comes out with the exact form factor of the ilx-w650 but with an HD screen. I wouldn't be able to give them my money fast enough.

It’s a little basic but it sounds pretty good. I did have problems making the camera work.
