Actual Blackhawk product is GREAT
**Please read through everything below because the actual real product is fantastic, I just got scammed by a overseas Chinese knockoff seller. Amazon was AWESOME in getting this fixed**If you bought this from the overseas Chinese seller WILDETAIL it is a cheap knockoff. Make sure you call Amazon right away when you receive it and they will straighten it out. The item came in a small bubble mailer in a plastic bag and was very inferior to the actual Blackhawk product. Also it doesn't say Blackhawk anywhere on the product and the entire construction/parts used is not what you would expect from a company like Blackhawk. The holes aren't even big enough to attach a holster. Another dead give away is the customs declaration, they declared it to be worth $13, even though you spend $45. I wouldn't even pay $5 for this product. **Amazon was very helpful in fixing the issue** I called right away because I knew the second I opened it that it was fake. I went out and purchased the real thing in person after placing my order on here and finding out it was going to take 30+ days. So I had the real thing to compare this fake knockoff to. I explained everything to them and they refunded my entire purchase price, no questions asked. Don't even have to send the cheap piece of garbage back. I mustn't have been the only person to complain. I see Amazon has now fixed the problem and removed the seller. Now off to my thoughts on the actual REAL BLACKHAWK drop leg system. Its a 5/5 in my book. I paid an extra $15 to actually buy it in person here in the states from a police supply store but I'm glad that I did. I've used drop leg systems in the past but never liked it due to the fact that they only had one strap holding it to the belt. The "Y" design on this product is perfect and distributes the weight of the gun nicely and doesn't pull down your pants. The "Y" straps adjust along a long ways for however you prefer it to sit on your leg, high or low. The actual straps that go around your leg is nice as well. They have a rubbery grippy substance on the inside to help it hold onto your pants so it doesn't slide around.Attaching a holster was simple and it included the needed hardware if you don't already have some. I've only used it with level 3 holsters so I can't say if the level 2 or lower will work although it seems like any Blackhawk Serpa holster would fit. The mounting even allows for a slight cant of the weapon if needed. Another thing I like is the fact that you can disconnect the entire system without undoing the belt loops. Just press the button and it comes right off. The loops attach to your belt with a very nice and secure velcro system, it even has velcro on the inside to help hold it in place on a duty belt (if your using a duty belt or if your duty belt has loop velcro on the inside). Another nice thing is that the loops can be used for keepers if your duty belt isn't to thick. (I included photos of the loop attachments)Once again, if you bought this from the Chinese seller WILDETAIL make sure you call Amazon as soon as you receive it because it is a knockoff product. Spend the extra $10 to buy it in the USA, you won't be disappointed. Its a great system, I give it 5/5

Perfect
My gosh, what a comfortable platform! It's more comfortable when sitting around the house than any of my waist mounted holsters. I haven't field tested yet, but here are some initial observations. The two swivel belt struts help to assure flexibility and continuous close contact of the platform with the thigh. The struts attach to the belt using a clever four piece, three fold velcro solution that provides ample security of attachment. The rig will not come, drag, or get jerked loose. The struts attach to the top of the platform and can be adjusted for height. Elastic keepers keep any excess material from flopping around loose. The platform is secured to the leg by two adjustable straps that fasten using plastic snap-lock buckle systems. Both straps are made of a heavy-duty, medium stretch material that allows for a snug but comfortable fit. The top one looks to be about 1.25" and the bottom one 1,75 inches. No keepers here; just the length adjustment pieces (Just realized I have no idea what you call the piece the strap passes through as it moves to its anchor point and then passes back through such that you can adjust length). Unless you have a really small leg, that piece will keep any extra material locked down. The snap-locks are a good size and easy to use--not too tight or too loose. The platform itself is very sturdy polymer with holes to allow direct mounting of a holster or mounting of BH's proprietary female/male quick mount system. The platform also comes pre-drilled for two BLACKHAWK! Tactical Mag Pouch, one on each side of the holster.I find that directly mounting my CQC Serpa for a 1911 to the rig results in the holster opening being just a tad off from what I'm used to. Once the female mounts come in, I plan to adjust it so that it cants forward slightly to provide for easier reholstering. All in all, I'm VERY pleased. I really struggled deciding between BH and G-Code. I'm glad I went with BH. The comfort level is just terrific.Enjoy!
