Q: Are they individually wrapped?

NO-they are mostly folded/packaged together. You can easily select one at a time for individual use.

Q: Would these hold up when frying burgers on a flat grill for 6 hours ?

I have never used them for frying, I have used them BBQing 360 hot dogs and they worked fine around a BBQ pit. Plastic and hot grease don't mix, I think they will be fine as long as you don't get too close to the heat. The reviews are pretty good. I think it would be worth a try. Your choice.

Q: are these recyclable?

I don't feel the material is that strong.

Q: Can these aprons be used by a caregiver to stay dry when showering a patient?

I think they would be perfect. I'm 5'8" and they go past my knee. They are pretty heavy duty. I use them every year when I'm dying eggs at Easter events, cutting up watermelon, etc. The only time i don't use them to stay clean and dry is BBQ'ing They will melt if you get to close. other than that these are my favorite.
