I was a bit dubious about buying these as I want sure of the diameter of my worktop roll. B&Q stopped making the ones I had previously bought and know fitted. I took a punt anyway.They turned up well within the expected time and were really well packaged, so no chance of damage.They are double ended, which I didn’t see described in the product detail, so cutting about 15mm off either end makes them universally sided.The finish of the metal is brushed aluminium with a matt effect. Exactly the same as the ones I had fromb&q but much cheaper!The only drawback is that these don’t completely come down the side of the 40mm worktop and so there’s a bit of a gap, but you can’t see it and if you do then you are looking too closely!Screws are included.The metal is very easy to cut and I softened the resulting burrs with a fine sanding block with no effort at all.I would definitely recommend the quality and service for these.

Easy to fit to a repurposed work top ( now my office desk)Can be cut with a hacksaw if needed, for a perfect fit. It would be better if the supplied screws were longer and had smaller heads ( so they don’t stick out)

Exactly what I was looking for and finished off the edges with silicone.
