Tried to see what Black Walnuts taste like
I have black walnut trees in my yard. Lots of walnuts fall to the ground in early fall. The squirrels make a mess of the hulls on my patio and walks. I wanted to taste them to see if it's worth the serious work and mess to harvest them. This sample let me know. For me, no, it's not worth it. They taste too different from regular English walnuts and not in a good way. So now I have these to let friends taste them so they'll know whether they like them or not. Worth the small price.Problem is not with the product.

They taste horrible!
I don’t know if it was a bad batch or what, but they were inedible. I didn’t keep my packaging or I would have returned them, but they tasted almost like gasoline or oil or something, but NOT black walnuts. I was so disappointed.
