Cools Well.
Installed this on a 2006 Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0 engine. I also used the 32082 hose adapter, 32050 temperature sensor, 28202 installation bracket set. Installation was straight forward enough for me. The bracket kit had everything needed for installation including the bolts required. The temperature the fans come on is easily adjustable. The fans move enough air to keep things cool whether towing my boat over the mountains or stopped in traffic on an 85 degree day. They also continue to run for several seconds after shutting the engine off to help cool things down. I also installed the 31143 switch kit to bypass the controller and manually turn the fans on or off if required. The switch is illuminated with a green light when the fans are turned on, a red light when the fans are turned off and no light when in the center position (the fans are then being controlled by the included electronic controller). The fans are slightly noisy when stopped at a light but I can't hear them at all when moving down the road. Overall I'm very happy with this installation and how well it works. I called Flex-a-lite for information before making this purchase and their customer service was excellent too.Update 2019-9-8: I'm still very happy with this setup. Went on a trip south this summer and my truck ran at its normal temperature in stop and go traffic while the temp outside was 98 degrees. Also drove up into the mountains on an 80 degree day (a long steep climb with switchbacks) and noticed my transmission temp was climbing. Using the switch I was able to turn on the fans and increase the air flow through my add on trans cooler which brought the trans temp right back to normal. I would recommend this setup to anyone.

Disappointing! Where Do I Begin!?! Hummer H2 '03
2003 Hummer H2. Very disappointing that this was not a plug and play! Very disappointed in Flex-a-lite as well! They need to step up their Final QC for packaging before they send out their stuff for distribution! I invested an entire day to figure out that this is just not going to work without extensive financial investment and modifications. It came down to me returning and ordering another Flex-a-lite fan system (295). I'll update the review once I have it installed.*** Updated Sept 29th, 2019 Read below***- I installed the Flex-a-lite kit #295. Much better fit for the 2003 Hummer H2! The 295 is shorter side to side than the 294 kit by 4", but still covers 89% of the radiator. More than the 70% minimum surface area that is recommended to be effective. Although the 294 is recommended by Flex-a-lite, it requires a modification to the 2 steel oil cooler lines on the driver side that connect into the radiator. They run 4" towards the radiator core. You cannot simply bend or modify these line without seriously effecting the function of them. The option would be to have custom line made or install a fan system that not interfer with those lines. Everything works as it should and cools the Hummer down as soon as they kick on. I live in Tucson, AZ. where temps run well into the 100+ degrees. No problems! Hope this is helpfull.Few things that worked against me from the start:- 1st - Flexalite did not supply a set of Pentagon washers and c-clips to secure the fan blades on! I pulled the fan system out of the box, everything seemed okay. Then I turned the shroud over to further inspection it and one of the fan blades fell off! I thought, maybe they left it like that on purpose in case the customer wanted to flip the blades. I figured they would have supplied a set in the hardware. Nope!! None to be found. This was a Saturday morning at 9AM. I called the customer service number, they were closed! So I went to my local hardware store to get some washers and c-clips to fit. That was my first issue right out of the gate!- 2nd - The instructions are very vague and not complete. They missed a step in drilling 2 extra holes to feed wires through the shroud. It's not even mentioned in the instructions. I figured it out from looking at a picture. When installing the circuit breaker they don't explain which post on the breaker needs to go to the battery and which from the VSC.- 3rd - They didn't supply enough butt connectors and loop connectors. Luckily I had my own supply from when I installed my lighting and stereo system.- Finally - After disassembling everything needed to disassemble and damaging the original clutch fan blade removing it! I partially installed the shroud to find out there were 2 oil lines on the driver's side that connect to the radiator that were in the way! I tried to move them over to clear the fan blades. They were not going to budge without removing them and seriously re-bending to clear. I spent about 3 hours working on those oil lines to try and figure out a work around. I have up and figured they would have to be custom done beyond my capabilities. That meant more time and money invested. Something that I don't have! So, I took a lot of measurements to see what would work. I figured a smaller system should work. The 295 system seems like it just may work. It is 4" smaller side to side, but that is just enough to clear the oil lines. It still covers over 70% of the core to cool everything. I'll update later on how that goes.Oh yeah, forgot to mention! I cracked my driver's side radiator tank right where the oil cooler line connects to the radiator while trying to move the oil lines! So now that's another expense and time the Hummer is down till I receive the new radiator! Unbelievable!!!
