bench top water boiler works well.
I have had this bench top water boiler for three years now. It works well for drinking hot tea, or using it to heat a pitcher full of water to make iced tea with. I am very happy with it.

Now I always have hot water in the house
Now I always have hot water in the house. I like warm water and often drink, my kettle does not hold and we bought a thermos, I have enough for the whole day, the water is always warm. I can always pour into my heat sink. price and quality are attractive. according to the description. I like my purchase , use for two months

Update to previous post “Works with limitations”
Update: I contacted Chefman through support and I have not received a response in 2 weeks. Essentially I cannot file for warranty issue. Buyer beware. After 3 months of using it, I am pretty dissatisfied with the unit in regards to a specific function. The manual pump does not work well. It works ok when the unit is full. When it reaches a lower level, perhaps ¾ or so full, water dispensed becomes a trickle. Also the manual pump tends to get stuck in the downward position after a couple of more pumps. I have to manipulate the pump to return to the upright position to pump again and the actions I have to do are repeated. The water temp is also so so, not close to near boiled water temp. I bought this as a replacement to a different manufacturer’s urn. That pump also “died”. But the pump works better than Chefman. Also the water temp is noticeably hotter than this unit. I would not recommend this unit. Someone else I talked to bought the same model and has similar issues. Also the odor of the boiled water still hasn’t gone completely away after 3 months.Water hot, electronic dispenser fine (would prefer a bigger button), extra electronic switch to fill coffee mug one handed (behind dispenser). Pump took a little extra muscle than I would have liked but worked. Things that I didn’t like: description says insert is removable to clean (it isn’t), cover per instructions with packaging says to pinch open the hinge with thumbs to separate lid (nothing to pinch; it seemed permanently attached), so it’s awkward to empty with lid flopping. The other thing I didn’t like is that I filled, emptied and boiled over 10 pots of water before the awful odor went away and it was still there but very faint, however useable.

Worked for 4 years. Then it didnt
The pot worked for 4 years. Then one day it quit working. Before breaking down. I liked how fast and easy it is to make a cup of coffee or tea. I also liked how much water the pot holds. Am planning on purchasing another pot. The new pot today is $89. Back in 2019 was $59. Less $30.

Hot Water All Day! (Bought a 2nd to give as gift)
The unit arrived quickly. It has a sleek, functional design with that complements my kitchen. It is really easy to set up - just plug 🔌 in power cord to the unit and wall. It heats up the water quickly and keeps it hot for a longgg time which is great for households that love hot tea, coffee, or cup of noodles throughout the day. It has an easy to use lockable lid and large easy to press buttons to boil and to dispense hot water. Happy with the purchase so far!Update 11/2024: This product is still going strong with daily use. Still very happy with this purchase. Shortly after I purchased this, I bought a second one to give as a gift. Some features I didn’t comment on include the easy to detach power cord which is helpful when cleaning. Also, a sturdy handle to lift and carry to the sink for refills.

Fantastic for home use
A quick review for people looking for a faster hot water solution other than a tea kettle or microwave:* We recently renovated the kitchen, and had an instant hot/cold filtered water tap installed* Then we movedI purchased this to replace the convenience of that tap, and if you are in a space that you can't modify, this is a great solution.* Form: The interior is stainless steel, while the exterior and handle are plastic. The cord is about 4', long enough to go behind the oven to the next nearest outlet. The height leaves about 4 or 5 inches clearance beneath the cabinets, which is a near perfect fit.* Function: There's a dispense button (powered) and also a large push lever to dispense while unplugged; the top has a simple turn lock to keep it from being pushed accidentally. It heats water quickly and the water it dispenses is always hot without being scalding (one of these days I'll get the temperature it dispenses at). 5.3L is enough for two people who drink a lot of coffee and tea for 3 or 4 days before it needs refilled.* Verdict: It gets constant every day use, it's sturdy, it intelligently designed, it works well. If you're looking for something along these lines, this is a great choice.
