HellaH11LL Long Life Bulb, 12V, 55W

The tire place I took my Jeep wanted to charge me 100 to install this light bulb and 15 for the actual light bulb, I said no thank you and purchased the light bulb here on Amazon. Entering the make and model when purchasing products ensure you buy the bulb that fits your car. In my case installing it was a lot of work, but since both me and my husband are handy, this took only about 30 minutes. In Jeeps you have a compartment by the front tires that snaps out, but you have to have really small hands to actually get to where the light bulb is and twist, so my husband and I pop up the hood took a few parts off and change the bulb. If you are trying the front tire approach please wear gloves, any light winter gloves will prevent you from scratching your hands.

Good brand historically. Fits good. On my car it has cross member that makes it tight to rreach through. Not Hella fault but be aware of that on some cars potentially. I have average size hands but did ice down the hand to make it smaller while installing. Don't let that dissuaude you as "easy twist lock install" once you get the darn Honda electrical connector off.

Exact replacement for CRV and Mazda 3, could not find this bulb at the national chain auto parts stores. Great price too!

Don’t trust Amazon sure fit, as these did not work for either high or low. Didn’t want to rate the bulb low as I couldn’t use them. I removed both bulbs from the car and the original ones are as follows for a 2017 Ford Escape: Hella H9 fits high beam, Sylvania 9005 for low beam. Hope that helps someone.

Not blindingly bright, but a great balance between brightness and longevity, especially for the price.
