Big kit, takes time, worth it.
This is not a beginner kit, but if you like challenges, go for it. Big box, a lot of parts, and as usual, take your time, and check out YouTube for videos that some have uploaded. Oddly, and just a FYI, some pieces are numbered on the sprues, and some are not, but the instructions list only numerical steps to take, not part numbers. I’ve only started and I’m not even past the engine build yet.

Lots of detail but not difficult to build.
A tough looking truck with lots of creative possibilities. Instructions could be better, but if you have experience building plastic model kits, it's not too hard to figure out. Test fit parts before gluing as some mounting holes require reaming. Zombies and tools in my photos are not included.

Great truck
Really enjoyed this build. In fact I actually purchased two. One to do as a fairly beat up version and the other pictured here with a gloss black bed.The instructions are not great but if you take your time and test fit everything, you will be ok. Take your time building the frame-that is the key to an overall successful final product.

Nice Model Kit
I built this same kit 20 some years ago its a nice kit. The older Autocar builds into a. dump truck and leaves the builder some interesting variations.

1970's kit, and the only game in town if you want a large 1/25 American dump truck
This kit was released back in the late 1970's, and shows it's age in part quality and skill required to assemble. Overall, it's a nice kit, but don't expect it to go together without some skill, effort, and above all, patience. The parts are molded in white with a couple of chrome trees, which require scraping of surfaces to be cemented. Fit of parts on these older kits can also be sketchy. Once the kit is complete, it is quite large and impressive. One should not criticize these older AMT and MPC truck kits to modern release plastic model kits, but instead be aware of what you are purchasing and expect to put extra effort into assembly, and then enjoy the nice model that results from your hard work.

Great kit
First off if you are just starting off building models this one is not for you. Instructions are just lines pointing to where it goes no part numbers just pictures and a ton of gluing patience is a big factor in building this kit

Not the same as old AMT products
I've built a lot of AMT cars and trucks between 30 and 50 years ago. They were American made, Not Chinese. The parts were numbered correct and the instructions were more detailed. If you want a challenge, this is for you.

Love Trucks!!!
I love building truck models. I was looking for an Internstion paystar 5000 dump truck model but found this instead. I haven’t built it yet but if the box is any indication, I will love it!
