Pricey but Great Hose!
This is absolutely the best hose I have ever owned. In fact I have two of them. No kinks and roll up very easy. They are very durable and made very well. Yeah...USA made!!

Quality hose for the price
The shipping was fast, as always. This is a very high quality and durable product. I purchased it to use with Suncast Swivel Hose Hideaway with Smart Trak Hose Guide CPLSSM200B and it fits with plenty of room. In fact, I believe I could easily fit a second hose in there later if I need to. This hose has a higher cost than the standard variety, but both the hardware and software you get shows you where that money goes.Personally, I'm a big fan of brass for all wet connections, but I see a lot of companies using aluminum instead. (I assume to save money, but maybe also to make the connection more durable - read stronger) Having said that, there are benefits to using aluminum, just be careful when you make threaded connections when there are two different materials. If you over torque a connection like this, then there is an even higher chance of damaging one of the joints by galling the threads when the materials have different properties. Just hand tighten the joint and make sure you use the provided gaskets. If there is a leak after hand tightening, then unscrew and remake the connection. You may have inadvertently cross threaded the joint.I don't know if this hose will "NeverKink", but it sure seems thick enough to minimize the chance of reduced flow. Make sure to depressurize and drain all hoses before you store them. Whether that be in a reel or your garage. It'll save you a lot of problems later if you do this.I hope this helped you with your research.

4 Year Review
I bought 2 of these Teknor Apex Neverkink, PRO Water Hose, 5/8-in x 100-feet in April, 4 years ago, for watering animals year round. I was tired of replacing poor quality (but not inexpensive $) hoses that contort, kink, collapse and fail in a year or two. These have heavy duty hoses have maintained their structure without any issues so I’m happy to give a review after 3 full years of being out in the elements for multiple purposes: plants, trees, gardens and frequent refilling water troughs year round. They’re thick and heavy to move all the time, so I leave them stretched out at a point of use but sometimes hang them on an outside hose rack. They’ve given very good service. After a couple years of pulling these I decided to run these to primary point of use locations and attach lightweight metal hoses for hand watering and sprinklers. I highly recommend for quality and service.

Did not last even 1 season (See Update!)
Updated: I bought two hoses several seasons ago. The first hose burst and did not even last one season, but the seller refunded me the money. I was angry it burst after only one season so I left a 1 star review, which you can see below. My second hose however lasted me 2 and half seasons before it burst. I used a hose mender and it has continued to work for the rest of the season and after another winter it is still functioning well. If it does burst again I bet I can get another season or two out of it with another hose mender. Compared to other hoses out on the market, this one is better than most and will last a long while if you are willing to mend it. I have a large garden and I use my hoses a lot. And I was frustrated that it kinked when it is advertised as kink free, but it really does not kink nearly as often as other lesser quality hoses, so I think I was a little harsh in my first review in that regard. If you want a kink free hose then buy the ones that have stainless steel sleeves. Those ones never kink, but you cannot repair them. They are expensive and they are only going to last a season or two because the inside is still rubber.Original Review:I've been using this hose for less than 4 months and it already sprung a leak. First, it kinks nearly every use. The manufacturer's "Guaranteed Not to Kink or Tangle" is false advertising. The manufacturer advertises, "Teknor Apex was the first US manufacturer to launch a kink-proof hose, which featured a patented technology called NTS (Non-Torsion System)", but this is a joke and gimmick. However, I could live with the kinking, the biggest problem with this hose is that it blew a huge leak (see pic) after just using it for less than four months. I've had cheap hoses last longer. This hose is advertised as a "commercial" hose and the manufacture suggests it is rated for the following use: "Product is best for tradesmen, landscape professionals, and contractor environments." I'm just a home gardener and it can't even last one season. You can check the reviews and this is a common theme for this hose. There are some reviewers who have a good experience, but with the amount of reviews with the hose springing a leak, buyer beware!

I won't ever buy another brand
I don't know if its just getting older or something else but I am learning more and more that you really do get what you pay for. Hoses are not an exception. I can not stand when a hose gets kinked up and forever kinks in the same spot and stops working. This hose does not do that, worth the extra money

Long lasting, tough hose
I'm back to replace this hose I purchased in 2017. Over the last 7 years this hose has spent summers stretched out in the hot sun, sometimes being driven over; and used through frigid Wyoming winters (wound up each use and kept in a heated tack room). I've abused the crap out of this hose, it is finally wearing out, so buying a new one.
