I bought the Thermophore Classic Plus Deep-Heat Therapy Pack. I have to continually pressure the switch to keep it warm. Sometimes just the weight of the pillow can pressure the switch and it warms up without need and without control...

I have sixteen broken disc in my spine, and heat helps with the pain that I have. Started using this pad over 18 years ago. It is the olny heating pad that will give max heat, as long as you hold the lever down it will keep heating. Theirs no low, med, or high button to press, It takes moist air from around you, no adding a water pad or cloth needed. If you have serious joint problems and heat help, give this pad a try it is costly. But once you try it you will understand, how it made and why its made to this way. If you a little pain here and their, get a regular pad. This one is for high deep heat for serious joint problems, again as long as you the lever down it keeps get hotter the lever is spring loaded as soon as you release the lever, it turns OFF until you hold the lever down again.

I didn't get this on Amazon, but this is the largest and best heating pad I've ever had. It's worked for 7 years and counting.
