Solid, not that heavy
While it's not necessarily touring musician's grade gear it's great for the rest of us. It's sturdy and light for a wood cabinet and the cost is fair, especially in these supply chain challenged times. The included cover has a nice zippered pocket on the front/top end of it. Nice touch. Plenty of included mounting screws. Good deal in my book.

Its ok but not the best
I had alot of hope for this case. First show with it and one of the zippers broke. The rack is not secured to the bag case and it wants to slide out at times. Its not horrible but I think I probably should have went for injection molded case instead.

As advertised
Haven't had a chance to use it yet, or even place equipment into it. It looks well built. The front and back covers zip down completely, but aren't removable. It came with 16 rack screws, but no nylon washers. I also bout a rack hardware kit so that's ok. Has handles and removable shoulder strap.

Inconsistent quality
I bought two of these units in the same order and received them at the same time. In fact they were shipped together in the original factory shipping box so it's safe to say that both were made at the same time. One of the units was fine, received as expected. But with the other unit BOTH rack rails were loose. When I went to tighten the screws holding the rails in place I discovered that ALL of the screws were stripped out and just held into the wood by fairy dust and good luck. I had to move the screws to different holes in the rails to tap into the wood in spots that hadn't been stripped out.The most disappointing part of this is knowing how easy it is to tell when a screw has been stripped and is no longer making purchase with the wood. We've all done it before. Apparently whoever assembled these units in the factory just didn't care. It's also disappointing to know that for less than $1 per case the manufacturer could've used tee nuts to hold the rails in place, providing an absolutely rock solid attachment to the rack shell with no chance of stripping out the wood. But they chose the cheapest route possible and the tiny stripped out rails are the result. I would like to drill out the case and add tee nuts myself but the fabric sleeve around the rack shell is so tightly affixed (perhaps glued in place?) that I was unable to slide it off, thus not being able to access the location where I'd put the tee-nuts.What a disaster. I'd return the racks except I need them for an upcoming gig and don't have time to find replacements.

Decent case
It's a pretty decent case, and the service was pretty decent, ordering, timely delivery, etc. However, I do have an issue with the product and the company I ordered it from. When I unpacked it from it's shipping container, I discovered one of the buckles (snap in plastic type) was broken on the shoulder strap, so the strap could not be attached on one end. I contacted the company, and they told me they don't have anotehr strap available for replacement. I'm thinking, how do they build these cases if they don't have the straps. Anyway, I had to take it to a seamstress who deal in sewing patches on leather vests and coats (they have very heavy duty sewing machines made for that type of work) after I ordered new buckles and have the original ones removed and the new ones sewn on. I shouldn't have ever had to spend my own money to fix an issue that was on them, not me. I received it damaged but the damaged part can't be replaced. I've never heard of such a thing. Not very good customer service. But, it's fixed now, and I had metal buckles installed and got rid of the plastic. It should never break again. Other than that, it's a good case, and I have now mounted the components into it that I bought it for and it's now ready for the function I needed it for in a couple weeks.

Low quality, not durable, and a flawed design: Don't carry it if it's full of gear!
In theory, this should be great, but it turned out to be disappointing for a number of reasons. When I first took it out of the box and unzipped it, it was clearly rhombus shaped - the corners were pretty flimsy with no reinforcement. If it filled with rack equipment it holds it shape a little better. It is made from some kind of low quality MDF which breaks apart easily. There are two front rack rails (none at the rear, but I wasn't really expecting any there) which are each (loosely) held in with 4 screws. The screws could be tightened a little but afterwards they just turned in place. The nylon bag is not attached to the rack at all - it simply slides overtop. And this is probably the largest flaw of all: If you carry it by the shoulder strap, all the weight of your precious rack gear is held in only by the back zipper. If that zipper fails, the entire rack will slide out and fall to the floor. If you only have very light effects and are willing to trade off the protection of a plywood for this lightweight cardboard-like MDF, it might work for you. The shoulder straps and handles are nice and it looks quite nice from the outside. I will be returning it tomorrow. Spend the extra money and get Gator bag that will hold its shape that's made from plywood and with rear racks and doesn't fall apart!
