best pen for notetakers
this is the absolute best pen, I'malways studying and taking notes. you can write with this pen for hours and the gel grip and bigger barrel really help with comfort, it doesn't create a sore spot on my finger. it's perfect the ink never bleeds or smears. I've ordered so many of these and gift them

Comfortable and great quality
I use a pen all day every day for work. When I'm at home, I bust out a fountain pen but I can't have a drippy, messy pen at the office, and fountain pens don't require enough pressure for the triplicate forms I write out 10-20 times a day. This pen is comfortable to grip all day, has a really impressively consistent flow, and is big enough that it doesn't get lost in a sea of cheap ballpoint pens. It feels solid and durable, and I hope it lasts me for quite a while. This is the only ballpoint pen I will use anymore, and my day is ruined when I leave it at home. Highly recommend for all-day writing. It's a nice pen!

Comfortable and smooth writing!
This is a great pen! My job requires me to hand write notes quickly. Having a rheumatic condition makes writing hard and at times painful quite often. This pen makes writing painless for me no cramping no fatigue in my hands. I definitely recommend and will be purchasing more.

Best Pen for Marking Official Documents in Blue Ink
Some people prefer to vote in blue ink to leave a trail for auditors. Finding a blue ink pen with the right hue and the right kind of ink is tough. Let the search for the perfect pen end with this pen, as the hue of the ink is dark enough, it’s not gel-based or paste-based and won’t gum up the machines, and it won’t bleed through paper. I just tested it today, so I know it works for the purpose. By the way, this pen isn’t just limited to ballots. It‘s useful for any other official document as well. If you’re looking for the perfect pen to mark official documents with, you can’t go wrong with this pen.Edit 04/05/2023 — 1:39 PM: I originally had a video that showcased the pen, but after my mom spotted her signature in it, I was freaking out, trying to make sure it wouldn’t end up in this review. Thankfully, the Amazon Communities team pulled all the photos and videos from my review, giving me another chance to go back and make edits. With this in mind, I shall leave you the four pictures I took during the filming. From right to left, the first photo is of the pen itself, the second photo shows that it fits in my tactical pen holster, the third photo showcases the hue of the ink, and the fourth photo is proof that it does not bleed through paper.

Ahh, a Dr Grip pen with BLUE ink!
After searching and searching, I finally found this Dr Grip pen that comes with BLUE ink! If you work in government you probably know that blue ink is preferred, mainly because anyone can tell at a glance if the signature on a document is an original or a copy (though with color copiers, this is not as easy anymore, though in my large office, we have 8 printers, but only one color print, for “special tasks”). After using blue ink for so many years, I’m just used to it anyway. These are my favorite pens. I don’t like the Dr Grip Gel pens, at all. As a lefty, the gel pens smear all over the page. I like the feel of the Center of Gravity pens, but don’t like their shorter point. In desperation in the past, I have bought Dr Grip pens with black ink and just thrown away the cartridge and replaced it with blue ink refills, but those are very hard to find as well. Sometimes Amazon has them, sometimes not; the office supply stores never have them. I stocked up on the blue refills in the past but, bad news, once I went to use beyond the first one or two of them, all of them had dried out. That has happened to me twice, so lesson learned, though I had really stocked up, so some had sat for 5 to7 years or so. Something to be aware of, and a definite weakness. Now, if they would only make pens or refills with fine point blue ink—Pilot, are you listening?Update: Yea! Blue ink refill cartridges now available in 0.07 FINE POINT!! (Still can find a pen that comes with fine point, and hate to waste original ink, but very happy I can now find my preferred size & color).

Good Ball-Point pen.
Writing with THIS pen feels superior than all the rest because it has a better grip.It writes well with blue ink.

Wonderful pen!
I am a doctor and I write a LOT as I talk to my patients. This is the pen I use every day. It has a soft, translucent pad around the barrel which provides four benefits to me. First, it is fat and soft enough to be very comfortable to hold. Second, refill ink cartridges are easy to get, so I don't have to throw away a whole pen! Third, the ink cartridges on the fine point last a LONG time (I like that!). Fourthly and finally, I can SEE how much ink is left in the cartridge, so I know when I am getting low and will need a refill. In addition, the gel ink flows smoothly without effort, is waterproof as soon as it is dry, and it dries fast, so seldom smears or smudges. And the pen comes in bright colors in this translucent model; neon pink, bright turquoise, and purple. If I put down my pen, everyone in the office knows it is mine and will make sure it finds its way back to me!These pens last a long time. With daily use for three years, my last one finally broke when it rolled off an exam table and hit the floor for about the umpteenth time. The plastic cracked by the threads and I finally had to replace it.I am a long-term fan.
