Don't put away your wet saw just yet....
Tried this on 2 jobs, one ceramic & one porcelain. Really poor results on both. If you've used a pro snapper like Sigma, Rubi, or Montolit, you know what a piece of junk this is. Typical for a QEP product, imo. They just don't make good tools. It wouldn't be that hard to get this to perform like the good snappers, all the makings are there. They just went really cheap on a couple components and failed overall. I've tried test cuts on some really inexpensive thinner tiles too(something you can snap almost by looking at it)- that didn't work either. I had one really good cut on the porcelain on the entire job-broke clean and straight, no chipping at the ends. Others I had to recut or hide under trim at the edges of the room. I have a cheap Kobalt that I use for small, less demanding stuff that that'll put the QEP to shame. It's only 20" long so I can't rip the 24's with it. GREAT with crosscuts though.
